Check your recent results and see if betting the first five instead of the full game would have made a positive difference. It probably will.
Betting a full game because of a SP doesn't usually make a lot of sense to me. It'd be like betting on the Colts for an NFL game, but knowing ahead of time that Andrew Luck only plays the first three quarters and sits out the last one because he gets tired.
Playoffs are a little different since teams with atrocious bullpens don't usually make the postseason, so there may not be as much of an advantage to going 1st 5 only there. Regular season, though? Definitely.
As as you mentioned before, a good number of teams are half-assing their way to the finish line right around now. Fading them is expensive but probably still profitable when they are playing a team still in the chase. I'm on the Orioles and Nats tonight. Not really because of SP match ups...more situational plays for both.
Good stuff. Totally agree. some of these guys deciding games in 7th inning should be in Pawtucket....thankfully that doesn't happen in the playoffs. I've never played a 5 inning bet before but the value to do so this time of year is hard to ignore.

OAK improved to 36-12 at Home vs the NL, and SEA lost, meaning they've followed 27 of their last 34 Wins with a Loss.
Thanks everyone here for the good wishes. Pushing these docs for surgery was a big win for me. It was not an anterior blood vessel, but a posterior artery that was causing the bleeding. While the endoscopy is the same and the surgery takes 30-45 minutes either way there was no way to stop this type of bleed with cauterization alone. An arterial clip had to be inserted to seal off the bleeding, or the trips to the ER would have continued. The doc post-surgery said, "I got it!" (the source) I got there at 11am. I was out at 1:45 and I slept from 3-5 and except for the lack of betting and bleeding it feels like every other day. Still some bleeding but now clotting should form.
One last thing I want to say to Vit and Ace - During the surgery I was logged on the entire time. From 2 different places! PEACE!
