No its not a done deal that I know of - but I can't see him wanting to come back to this year after year, he is killing himself - and for what, to be the star of a crappy team and always injured?

Its been all over the press that he was talking about retirement - but who knows. I wouldnt blame him.

so the voting is 18-4 that KC wins the game

I dont know how to interpret this

the 15 of you who voted for KC who havent posted - tell me what you are thinking?

Can someone please just make a rock solid case for KC so I can put this issue to bed?

Thanks

OK folks as Titan fan here and season ticket holder here is my two cents worth,,
First tonight is going to be cold for the first time here and wind will be blowing big time from the north so it will some effect on the game.
We seem to fire out strong each game then after the first half we got nothing left in the tank so I might watch and play a second half.
Also tonight Titans are moving some young folks around on the O-Line to see how they play.
No new injuries >> Hell do we have anyone left to get hurt now.. as the training room has more people there than we do on the practice field..
Our defense is shot and for sure KC should score but can we score enough back ,,
If it comes to kicking then Anderson having kicked here in wind might give us the edge..
Brown's turf-toe is better but cold weather doesn't help it and he might not go the full game,,,
If I did play this I think maybe the over looks good to me that way I just pull for scores,,and not worry about who wins,,
Again just my two cents here

there is no rock solid case for two teams that are injured and 4-8 on the yr!!!!

it is a coin toss, pick em, or non play

good point golfing - but the voting seems to indicate some trend in the way people are thinking and I'd like to identify it.

KYwildcat - isnt the injury to samari rolle a new one?

new to a degree, he has not been totally healthy in last 4 games

one other thing is will Fisher try a few tricks also forget ex defense coach back at KC so that be interesting his defense up against our offense..

Not betting with my heart but the over down to 47 and maybe Tn to +7.5 might not be bad play,, hell who knows on these two teams here tonight

Jaypaw, for having no strong opinion on this game, you sure are worried about it and pressing people for explanations! I am guessing that you are wanting to put a lot of $$ on this game (bailout?) because if you didn't, you wouldn't care so much about everyone's opinion and you would just make your own play for a small amount just to make the game interesting.

If this is the case, and you need to put some serious jack on this game, again I am much more confident in the OVER in this game than I am in either of these 4-8 teams to close the deal. It's hard to bet on a defense that can't be counted on to stop opposing teams and retain a lead when the game is on the line, and I don't see either of these defenses as fitting that bill.

If I'm way off base, and you're just curious for input, accept my apologies and tell me to #$%^ off. I sure as sh#& wouldn't trust the Chiefs on the road to deliver a straight-up win.....they have burned me too many times this season. GL

not true - seriously just curious

My opinion at the start was that Tennessee would be the more favorable side but I'm just wanting to see what people have to say thats it...

Sorry for the false accusation, Jaypaw. I only know from personal experience of having my scrotum in the wringer on Monday nights. I'm glad to hear it's not a desperate play for you. Basically I don't trust either one of these schizophrenic teams to win. GL whatever you decide to do. :suomi:

I agree - and I've basically convinced myself (with the obvious help of all of the 29 KC poll voters) that Tennessee isnt worth a play.

I'm slowing down on the NFL and basically admitting that the season is lost at this point down just over 4 units (basically where I've been hovering all season long).

KY wildcat - best of luck on your pick.

I understand why a lot of people like the over - I dont have the confidence in either of these teams to bet it.

El Iguana said:
GoFlamesGo, KC is definitely capable of better than their current 4-8 record. Their offense can go toe-to-toe with any in the NFL, but they have made some critical errors/turnovers/coaching blunders at inopportune times that cost them. Their defense is decimated with injuries and hasn't been able to stop anyone, just slow them down a bit. They definitely have more talent than most other teams with a sub .500 record, but no team goes to the playoffs based on woulda coulda shouldas.

It would not surprise me at all to see the Cheifs win by 20 tonight. It would not surprise me at all to see them lose by 20 tonight. But I will be SHOCKED if fewer than 50 points are scored in the game. GL
I completely agree Iguana. They can go toe to toe with anyone. It's just been a really bad season. That being said, this game has shoot out written all over it and I just can't see Tennessee being able to keep up. I think it's like asking someone to keep up with INDY in a shoot out. It's tough, but I'll take my chances with this game. Look out for Tony tonight!

Just to add:

KC is averaging 25.3 ppg on the road in 6 six road games this year.

The Titans have averaged just 16.6 ppg in five home contests while posessing only a 1-4 record

There is a prop worth taking a look at at Pinny

Will the Chiefs score a TD in the first quarter?

Yes -104
No -112

KC is tied for the NFL lead in first-drive points (48), first-drive scoring pct. (66.7%) and first-drive TDs (six) - and this is only on the first drive!

Only IND (96) and PIT (93) have scored more points in the first quarter than KC (92) this season and they are on pace to set the second highest mark in team history

Something to think about - it's got decent value. What do you guys think?

Sorry about the prop Jimmy! KC crapped the bed in the first. Still won on the side and over. Congrats to the winners!
