Washington: The Republican Closet EXPLODES

050317_rep1.jpg
Are they all cocksuckers, these Republicans? In the new GQ, J.D. Tapper details the efforts of gay blogger Mike Rogers to out the many gay Washington opportunists who are only too happy to go on the payroll for the gay-bashing jamboree that is the Republican Party, 2005. Quoting our favorite Congressman, Barney Frank, the article confirms that the Republicans have "now moved to the point where they accept the fact that you’re gay as long as you act somewhat embarrassed about it."
The piece, entitled "Hot for Gay Republicans," takes no stand on the tricky issue of public outing. We know that many of our readers feel uneasy about the practice. Outing seems to draw its killing power from a premise that equates homosexuality with shame. We would remind these readers that what is being outed is not the right-winger’s homosexuality, but his hypocrisy.
Also note that the people the GQ article discusses are not to be confused with the Log Cabin Republicans. The "Loggers" have earned our grudging respect over the years for never failing to choose gay-rights over the party line. They are out in their public lives and because of that can’t even get a speaking slot at their own Republican convention. We’re talking about those twisted closet cases who oppose gay civil unions at every turn and bristle at the mention of gay people as a legitimate and aggrieved minority, yet have no problem sucking cock themselves or going down on workmen in Union Station bathrooms or promoting studly interns whose only aptitude for the job seems to be a dazzling row of teeth and massively large hands.
The Lefty website, Raw Story, is having as much fun with this GQ piece as we are. Here we learn that the article already prompted a White House toady to issue a statement that Ken Mehlman, the nervous looking chairman of the Republican Committee, is absolutely and completely "not gay."
Mehlman, it should be noted, refuses to answers questions about his sexuality and must have been as stunned by this announcement from the Bush campaign as we were. Quips AmericaBLOG’s John Aravosis (who is also gay) "If [Mehlman] is now heterosexual, I’d like to know why he’s single at 38 … Why, with all those eligible, beautiful Republican activist women at his beck and call?" Perhaps, he’s too busy. Being a Roy Cohn clone gives him a lot to live down to.

believe the first time this phrase was said was by Ann Richards with regards to George H.W. Bush and more recently as lyrics by Pearl Jam in their 2003 song Bu$hleaguer.

And now someone who has their head wedged deep inside George W Bush's anus is trying to use it and perhaps pass it off as their own. How lame!<!-- / message -->

Cut Shorty, that saying has been around as longer than Ann Richards.Try getting out once in a while.

Speaking of Your kind of "Comedy"

"Bush's Big Joke" -- A Video of Atrocities

This video is heart-wrenching, but it is a glaring example of everything that is wrong with George W. Bush's presidency and the Bush administration's policies. The original video is from an event in March 2004. During Bush's speech, he thought it would be funny to show pictures of himself (e.g., looking under a desk) while he joked about not finding WMDs in Iraq. If Bush had an ounce of compassion or the tiniest bit of empathy, he would understand that his lies are killing people. The victims of his war won't find his jokes very funny. Bush lied to the America people and the American people deserve better.

I find it refreshing that Mary Cheney doesn't let her Sexuality define her.

Be a Voice for what?

I couldn't care less what someone does for sex (as long as participants agree) But my problem with the "Gay Agenda" is that it even exists.

Is there an agenda for people who want to be pissed on during Sex?
