Fish with all due respect I feel you are wrong here. Do you think the Curt Schilling endorsement cements New Hampshire? If so then how can Jersey go against "The Boss." Few people see the entire world with "sports" colored glasses as we do Sir. Damn "Lambert" Field thing ain't cool though I must admit.

Shrink there are IMO other scenarios which do not require a sweep of Ohio [which is looking much bluer] and Florida. Keep in mind that Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa all have Democratic governors and don't forget that local ABC affiliate is in the Twin cities. All of this does not bode well for Bush and can do some late minute damage to to him as can Richardson in New Mexico. Don't sweat Pennslyvania and Michigan. Trust me there.

Now Bruce really doesn't hurt in the Rust Belt. Merely his image keeps reminding everybody that "they closed down the auto plant in Mahwah late last month and that Ralph went out lookin' for a job but couldn't find none... New Jersey turnpike riding on a wet night":105317756 And I'm not calling Arkansas red just yet with Clinton on the loose.

Another observation I have made over time is that the evangelicals north of the Mason-Dixon line tend to maintain more populist traditions and are less rigid in their thinking than the southern Bible belters. As a case in point, the evangelical voters in southwestern Michigan appear to be an enigma and are not blindly following Bush at all. Such I predict will also be the case in the Michigan, Wisconsin, and Iowa triumvirate. Recently read though where a poll in Tennessee found 25% of propective voters thinking Bush will lower taxes on rich folk and another 27% didn't know or care. And it would be flawed logic to assume the remaining 48% hold doctorates or even GED's.

The next few days should be headline driven for sure. Just take a look at MSNBC.COM right now. Bush's approval rating I do believe is under 50% in most polls and dropping....a much better indicator than any poll. I personally see at least a 55% to 60% probability with the dog at this time. Beyond the scalp thats trigger pulling time for me.

I may be wrong [I am biased] and do not wish to take anybody down the wrong path. So be warned.

Heard Michael Moore is in Florida handing out a pair of clean underwear and Ramen noodles for a Kerry vote. This is against the law but nobody seems to want to arrest him. Friggin circus it is and I love it.

Good Post Mr. Jones and I am in total agreement with you...

About the Polls: Since no one with a cell phone was called, I don't think that Americans aged 18-25 have been fairly represented. The majority of them are clearly for KERRY...

I believe KERRY WINS this election and due to the emotionally charged campaigns and a divided country, I expect to see the largest turnout in the history of this nation, another factor which favors KERRY...

What does it REALLY say about your candidate when you HOPE that VOTERS stay HOME, lol? :greenguy:

Votes will definetly be swayed in OHIO by what KERRY said.

Actully met one firsthand last night at the bar.

There are thousands and thousands of voters and you think no votes will be swayed by this?

I disagree, but respect both of your opinions.

FORT MITCHELL — Pete Rose had one of those famous, slightly crooked Pete Rose smiles on his face Thursday night as he jokingly pictured himself in the political arena.

“I wonder what would happen if I ran for office back here,” the Cincinnati native and former Reds player and manager said during an interview at a political fund- raiser at the Drawbridge Inn and Convention Center. “I could probably do OK, but I'd have to move back here.” Lawyer Eric Deters held a fund-raiser Thursday in his bid for Kenton County attorney in an election two years from now, but there was no doubt just about everyone in the Drawbridge's London Hall wanted to see and be seen with Pete Rose.

One positive for KERRY, is Pete is a democrat.
