Police state 101

The way I see it, when this thing kicks into gear, and they are already starting a frenzy about it, anyone driving will be suspected of driving distracted until proven otherwise.

In other words the police will have one more reason to pull you over anywhere and anytime to write you a ticket or warn you about being distracted. Good luck in court trying to prove you were not distracted.

Behind on your taxes? Hide your car.

Tax man seizing cars in Virginia county. I think this is a trend we will see more of in the future.

Delinquent taxpayers beware: a team of collection agents are scouring Isle of Wight County looking for your vehicle — and if they find it, they will seize and impound it.
If that happens, getting the car back will be expensive. On top of paying any taxes owed, the owner will have to cough up a considerable fee to the recovery agency before a seized auto is returned.
Virginia Auction, Recovery and Seizure Company was contracted by the Isle of Wight Treasurer’s office to help recover unpaid personal property taxes. The town of Windsor is also participating, and Smithfield may follow suit.

The Police people should stop picking on the people that be good. They needs to focus on the bad people and put them in jail. This is my take about this here matter.

It's like global warming, the colder it gets the more the global warming crowd claims we are on the brink. The bigger the lie, the more likely they will believe it. No, we are not living in a police state. Not at all.
