I now understand. There is a short period of time that one cannot park along a particular street in order to allow street sweepers to do their work. BUT, other times it is legal to park along that same street. I see, said the blind country bumpkin.

Ok...here is what I find humorous. I don't know the amounts for the tickets, but I would wager that those tickets pay for the street sweeping services or a big part of them. Sort of like a new city patrol car being paid for by moving violations handed out using that same new patrol car. What a world. tulsa
