Each moderator does a very good job in terms of pure moderating and site efficiency.
A few blurbs that may help-

1-UNCLE B

The life of the party, easily one of most people's favorites. Cannot live without

2-PATRICK MCIRISH

I am glad me and pat have come a long way, this is a top notch thinking man, brings integrity and seriousness to your team, kick ass capper to boot. Better watch out, your sponsors might complain if he gives away to many winners.

3-ANGELLE

Needs to be out there a little more, very well liked, always polite and does a solid job. Get her more involved, guys love a hottie, shes got the goods.

4-DANTE

Never heard dante say a bad word about anyone, even the real pains. Loyal, dedicated and hard working. A real team player always looking to pick up his fellow man.

5-THE GENERAL

Even mannered and witty, general is sometimes controversial but always trying to do what he thinks is the best he can for the site. WOuld like to see him take a position more often and stick with it, be a little less neutral and a little more willing to defend himself, even when others do not agree with him. Also, If he is going to be involved in player v book disputes, he needs to make sure he has all the facts straight with a full understanding of all the issues and speaks on those matters with a religious dedication to said facts. Got to appreciate his work here no matter what you think of him personally.

6-RPM

RPM has stepped up over the last year , needs to continue his maturing process, and i think he will. Another team player who is always trying to help out his fellow mods and improve the Rx. Needs to improve his capping ( LOL JUST KIDDING BUDDY ), anyone who puts himself out there deserves credit. RPM is another loyal worker who does deserve credit for speaking his mind, even when he is the minority.

THIS IS DOGBALL

I wouldn't go so far as to "rate" the moderators. Just suffice to say that as a team they're doing a pretty good job and I'm not gonna say that one is "better" or "worse" than another.

Banned4Life,

Perhaps I should have made the question more general to include the moderators as a TEAM, since that's the approach we use when working together...

Therefore, if anyone else would like to offer comments, please feel free to generalize and use Moderators in the plural form...

What our mods do well?

What don't the mods do so well?

What changes would you like to see if any?

Thanks,
Ken

The moderators are doing a great job, IMO.

I would like to be slower to bust and/or edit though.

For example, Cool Hand Jim, or Bean Town Jim or whatever he is cracks me up. The guy is hilarious although some of his humor is a little off-color... hell, so is Chris Rock's, Eddie Murphy's and George Carlin's humor though.

I believe banning Bean Town Jim was a mistake...

We (all of our mods at the time) made the decision to give him a 2 week vacation, but I think in retrospect, that if we all had to do it over again, he would not have been banned...

Good feedback David...

If you took Dante's calm and fair nature, with some of Uncle B's willingness to act, I think you would have the ideal moderator.

And I like how General is always willing to help people out with book issues.

I don't play a lot of contests, but it is clear that RPM is very active in running them and from what I hear is quite good at it.

I am not familiar enough witht he others to comment, so it is no knock on them.

IMO I think this question is a no-brainer. The people you listed in this thread are great people. Always ready to help and always have good opinionated views to contribute with us. They're always active and keeping the forums flowing.

The most under rated and best mod's without a doubt are:
The General
Dante
RPM

The most over rated is UncleB although he has improved 100% since his suspension

Pat - the jury is still out but there is a bit of obvious Peep syndrom setting in. Anyone remember when Peep was just a poster? He was even more of a rebel than Pat. That changed with lighting speed as soon as he cashed the 1st Rx paycheck. I guess it's only human. Pat learn from Peep! If you go from a rebel with a cause to a company man you will go crazy and end up being damaged goods. Good luck buddy.

Not your brightest star in the sky

It is well known that The Rx (and any watchdog site) are constantly scrutinized regarding the correlation between their opinions on sportsbooks and the advertising money.

What does The General do?

He starts a brand new thread in OFFSHORE admitting that BML (a recently exposed sh*t book) could advertise on The Rx for the right amount of money. Of course, this thread is locked shortly thereafter.

He rarely has an opinion of his own, and if he does you will seldom hear it. He has also been accused of other things like putting 911 up to bashing Joey C...all of this in retaliation for stupid sh*t.

That is my honest take on The General--hope u like it
