Don't know how you hear these things as I never post my plays or results and furthermore have only posted 3 times in the last 6 weeks.

All I will or can say is YOU MUST BE AN INSIDER

if you push a 2-team teaser, over the long haul you are losing big time

this is because the part you push gets you nothing, and the other part gives you zero upside but all the downside (you can only tie or lose, but you can't win)

therefore: don't tease a 2-teamer onto 3, 4, or 7 --- only tease through them

for 3-teamers, it's OK because the push just drops out and doesn't suck up the winnings from the other parts of the teaser

A two-team teaser with a TIE and a LOSS should be graded as a LOSING BET (despite illogical "old school" practices of the past).

The logic is VERY simple:
If one game of the teaser is a winner and the other game is a loser, the result of WIN + LOSS is always LOSING TEASER BET.

Now, if on the "WIN" game, your team does slightly worse, and merely TIES instead of WINS, why should the net result of the teaser be better? A (TIE + LOSS) is WORSE than (WIN + LOSS). So, why on Earth would anybody expect to get a better payout on a worse result?

Though some old school places did this, it was just plain wrong. Maybe, they used it like an incentive or a rebate program to keep players happy, but it was still an illogical policy.

There are still places out there with players getting 14/6 instead of 13/5 odds on two-team parlays. It's because they've managed to grab some old-school players that don't know they are being ripped off. The players' ignorance does not make 14/6 the correct odds (nor does it make TIE+LOSS a push).

Just some teaser information since its what I bet.

Caribsports and Betrio a tie/win is counted as a win.

skybook just claimed a tie/win was a win buy I went to there site and under rules they have it as a push.

Barbary Coast in Las Vegas has even $ on 6 pt college teases and a loss/tie is considered a push pro or college.

Fish,

I havea freind that makes 5grand a year on people throwing away teasers that lose the first leg and then tie the rear. Spiro is basically a thief, that takes advantage of squares who dont know the correct rules.

You cannot have a PUSH. Ties are regarded as WINS!
