Before yesterday I had a heavy 4 day losing streak though. Trying this only on paper for a full month before going on with real money I never had more than 3 losing days in row. So not good enough, I was very close to the most units I may risk on each play.
I would still need to work on the money management.
Myself, no idea about Soccer but going to educate myself at some point. You mentioning about working on money management. That I'm educated in and I paid for my education by betting different amounts and if you are like me and many others, staying in the game years, me personally decades you will lose the biggest bet you ever made. What works for me now is all my wagers are the same unit and I set a daily realistic goal and with a monthly goal in site. No more sleepless nights or playing catch up because my biggest wager ever (can't lose) lost and I lost many in my decades of playing. Now, cap my games, NBA, NHL, NFL/COLLEGE and wager the ones that fit my numbers and all the same unit. The game is now a pleasure, no pressure and with that alone games are capped with a clear head.
