Most of the public wants a LAD/Boston World Series, but I don't see it happening. Like I said I still think LAD has a better team than Philly, but something tells me Philly takes the series. Tampa Bay shouldn't be a surprise to anyone anymore. They might have the best roster of players in the entire league, with only the Cubs and Red Sox comparing imo. Kazmir, Shields, and Garza will be a nasty trio for the Sox to deal with. I'd take them over Lester, Dice-K and Beckett. Beckett right now is the worst of the six. It should be a great series, but I'll take the team that I think is slightly better with home field at + money.

First game on Thursday I'm looking at the under. 7.5 is pretty low for a game @ Philly though.

As for Red Sox/Rays series I agree that Beckett is the worst of the 6 pitchers, but he still is Josh Becket, and I wud also have to say Lester is the best of the 6 pitchers. I know the Rays are out to prove everybody wrong, but I'm gonna go with the Red Sox experience in this one. Good Luck tho.

Also I've noticed that even tho you'll bet a team for the series, you will still bet against them in a single game. I can't bring myself to do that.

I'm waiting for the line to come down to bet RS. I already have TB to win the pennent at 33-1.
I honestly think TB can beat the RS.They are a very solid team. If you look back over the season TB won most every major series through out the year against all comers and were very poised aginst Chicago in ALDS.

I've got till friday to decide.But I have to hedge,I'm hoping the line goes down on the RS.

I agree that right now Lester is pitching the best of the six. Overall I like the trio in Tampa Bay more though. If Beckett starts pitching like he has in the past that might change, but all I go by is what I've seen this year, and it hasn't been impressive for Beckett. You're right about the experience though, it might be what give the Sox this series.

Yeah I will bet against a team that I have a series bet on if I think they lose. I am sure I will find a game or two during the Boston and LAD series' when I think they will win. Game 3 with Lester at home will be a Boston game if the line isn't too high.

Nice odds. I'd for sure hedge, but I think the line will only go up. I'd say the Red Sox get hit for about 75% of the money for the series line. The public did start to believe the Rays are a very good team, but I don't see them choosing them over the Red Sox. I'd take it now because I think it only goes up.

Now you can just watch an incredible series with guaranteed profit no matter who wins it.

I can't see it. It's what the public wants, but they would have to beat two very good teams that have home field on them. I think people forget that Philly and Tampa Bay have the home field advantage and have proved themselves this season.

Tampa Bay is the best team in baseball this year in my opinion.

I would assume we don't agree with each other on the Sox/Rays series though. I do believe the World Series champ comes from this series though, regardless of who wins. They are the two best teams remaining and this is the series I was most looking forward too. Just hard to pass up the Rays getting + money with home field advantage.

I completely agree.

I wasn't shocked to see the Red Sox on the minus, but it was kind of surprising given the fact that the Rays defeated in them in the regular season ten to eight, had more wins than the Red Sox in total, and have home field advantage.
