No Kid, no conflict.....if i dont get 16 by the end of today, i am just gonna run the first round, with everyone going against everyone....after first round, top 8 move on, and start over.......after second round, top 4 move on, etc....just like it would have played out head to head.......

and for each additional person we get in, im sure Mike wil throw in another 125.00, which is what we were getting with a 2000.00 pot for 16 people.....

yes Shawn, its yours to wager.....check out higher in the thread, where Mike listed the stipulations on the deposit, however, there is no entry fee to go for the free money, u get to bet it how u like....

and its a pretty nice book, i like it....

...and yes, they cover the fees....

Sports, the rules were in another thread....

Pretty basic, if we get 16, we will go head to head, like a sweet 16 style, capping all games in each round....

in the first round, just sides, in the subsequent round (lesser games) sides and totals, winners at end of each round of playoffs move on......

if we dont get 16, we will just move the top 8 at the end of first round, then top 4 at end of second round, etc...

We ran this same contest last year, and was alot of fun....

Lines will be up the night before....

If for some reason, u dont think u can get your picks in on time, u can email them to me, of course u wont know exact line, but u can email your pick, and i will post it for you...

if we go head to head, this means that each poster will be paired up against another poster? so conceivable if somebody gets paired up against the hottest capper they are out after the first round even though their picks may have been better than many others who got in?

Perhaps it would be more equitable to just advance the top 8 & not have the head to head even if we do get 16?

Perhaps, but not very exciting. Head to head matchups havve an element of chance that may be unfair, but this is supposed to reflect the playoffs...ie who can cap well in the clutch.

I mean same reason they have a postseason at all instead of just giving the trophy to the Pacers for having 61 wins.
