Anyone who reads this forum, realizes this guy is a complete loser.

That is all that needs to be said anytime this guy posts. He is a complete tool.

No clue what anyone is talking about with the editing of the thread, but I can tell you this....when I met PO69 at the BASH, I can say that I have never met a creepier person in my life. To top it all off, he claims to have killed a few people in Mexico while being a doctor. The worst part about that is that he said something along the lines of, "Who cares, it was an accident." Not sure if he is lying about that or not, but IMO this guy just wreaked of being a scumbag. Have no idea about his prior history here, but this guy is no good. Shady as they come.

Disturbing to say the least.

I'd like to hear what PO has to say about that comment. I really don't think we need any f'ing murderers around here.

Who cares(about the murder thing)...that is completely irrelevant. Why someone would tell someone they just met that, though, that's a little strange. But it still has nothing to do with this particular issue.

Oh my God, he killed my uncle in Mexico. He went there for a check up because he thought he had cancer. They flew him home in a casket. Was that you, playersonly, who killed uncle Fuzzy? In Mexico, they called you the snake Doctor.

since we are all bashing PO69. im dieing to know what those two large animals that PO69 left behind when his house got distroyed by the hurricane...

some people thought they were dogs, but then PO69 got defensive and said "who said they were dogs?"

so what were they then?

Correct me if I'm wrong but is this PO guy the same guy that posted baseball plays with write-ups and rated them 1 to 5 units but never kept a YTD record and got all bent when mofome asked him what his record was.

I thought that guy was odd if this is him then yea this guy rubs people wrong,I mean why rate your plays?

Given the substantial value of some of the prizes in these contests (most notably, the TVs), wouldn't it be a good idea if the system kept a record of all edits? The TV contests are "first come, first serve" on each set of answers. I would be really, really pissed if I double checked that my guesses were unique, posted them, and then found out that I didn't win a TV because someone edited his post to change his guesses after I'd submitted mine.

Perhaps editing should be disabled in contest threads?

All that is easier said than done. Basically there is a very short window of 2 or 3 minutes where regular posters can edit a post without it showing as:
Eg: Last edited by Beetman: 10-22-2006 at 05:47 AM.

Should someone who has already posted ahead of you want to change their selections to exactly what you have posted they would have to do it within three minutes fo the time of their original post. A virtual impossibility in a complicated contest like the Skybook Dude one. As soon as three minutes (maybe a little less) has passed no one can edit a post without the "last edited by " signature showing at bottom.

In the case of Playersonly69 - he had the opportunity to see the trivia answer posted by the next poster because of the rapid fire nature of that contest (over in several minutes tops).

I would not worry about being victimised in the Skybook Dude TV contests because of the software feature that lets posters make an invisible edit for up to three minutes.

Wilheim it is actually 5 minutes.. I do it all the time with my writeups when I notice spelling errors etc.. It always allows me 5 mins to edit.. Also with me there never is any "edited by:" comment when I edit. Never has happened once.. But I have seen it with other posters..

The edit feature is supposed to allow edits for up to three minutes without a signature. I am going to look into making any edit no matter how quickly done have a signature. Even at 5 minutes there is little chance of someone changing a post in The Skybook Dude contest, because of a later post, without the post showing as edited. Anyone posting ahead of you longer than even five minutes will not be able to make the edit without it showing up as edited by.

This edit situation is not an issue with the SKY/BETJAM contest. This is why the contest closes 5 mins before the start of the games. By the time the games start, no one is able to edit.

Relax folks, you have nothing to worry about.
