Just for the record, I am not crazy about this format. I do not understand why I should be freezed out of a selection just because my opponet makes a particular selection.

The only reason I can see for this rule is if we have a less than honorable person in the contest. I have already proposed a solution in that event.

Any way, thanks to you and Players Superbook for the contest!! This is extraordinally generous and I hope they do many more just like this!!!

BTW

I don't see a rule about edited posts. May I presume that any post that is edited will have all selections therein graded as losers?

Honestly, I dont believe that Journeyman was expecting such a big tournout 10 minutes after he posted the lines! Give him time to say all of the rules tonight about edited posts and all.

I am sure no editing is allowed though

By the way, not talking about my matchup exactly, but has anyone noticed how some of the best players are playing against each other here in the first round? Sort of helps me or Ivan though, that after the first round, some of top talent will be gone!

Of Course NO EDITING WILL BE ALLOWED!

I didn`t expect players to post all selections at once but thats how the rules are...Players, you can`t say much it was your suggested rule,lol...Either way though guys and we have debate....This is a little different than the baseball contests as the bulk of games is on two days...So a little different strategy is used , either way its a great contest....With that kind of prize money and criteria to enter , I wouldn`t be at all surprised if we could get 32 if there was a next time....

NO EDITING , NO EXCEPIONS!

Well you are correct about one thing Journey! It is VERY different in terms of strategy! I can actually play about 8 games on Saturday or so and see how i do, then I could wait until the late games on Sunday or even Sunday night and play the last 2 picks differently depending on if i am way down or not!

But Ivan did make some great selections in the pros, I have to give him credit

Try to post the Bucs game Journey, or at least he odds, as I wanted to take that game.

I assume that they were waiting for the Alstot injury update, but now we know that info

Will the posted times on this thread for the games stand as the official start time for posting purposes.

Just asking so no one can say for example that the game did not start at the top of the hour but actually 5 or 10 minutes after the top of the hour.

I know this might come up later on, it has in other contests.

Great job Journeyman, and thanks to our sponsor Player's Super Book.

Thanks to players for sponsering this contest! Excellent question Bigtex. By the way Journey, my post above obviously didnt have any picks in it. i just didnt want to clutter up the thread so much. IT wont happen again.

Another good question TEX...Yes the times listed are the times the pick must be in by for that game....

Jateeluv...the rules are pretty simple resally...Is there anything in particular you`re concerned with?

My picks. I repeated the no. 1 and 2 pcks from above to make the admin a little easier. Tie-breaker still to come a little later:

1. Kansas +6½

4. Navy +5
5. North Texas -7½
6. Notre Dame +9
7. Georgia -2
8. Nevada +17½

Tell me we won't be adding games to the list as the week goes on!! Once the menu is posted it must remain constant. No edits! No exceptions!

VVV

p.s. Next contest you do I would suggest posting the rules before taking any participants. No rules controversy there as guys can opt out if they don't like it.

p.p.s. This is going to be lots of fun! Thanks!!

I am not sure about the Kentucky play here, but I give Lorenzen 350 yards passing today, so I will take the points
