Wish I could find the old issue but there was an article in Sports Illustrated a year or so ago about players in the 4 major sports with the worst win/loss record. Had a KC Royal or two but almost everyone played for the Detroit Lions on the list.

The most impresive ever was Diego Maradona playing for Napoli (1984-1991). Took a less than average team to win everything:

Serie A: 1987, 1990
Coppa Italia: 1987
Capocannoniere: 1988
UEFA Cup: 1989
Italian Super Cup: 1990


Currently:
David Beckham with LA Galaxy
Robinho with Manchester City

True, I just feel a player of his caliber deserves more effort from ownership to bring in talent. It was different when Turner owned the team.
