Dude, if you are in your room for more than 4 hours your entire trip, then you aren't doing Vegas right.

With that being said, Circus Circus is the place to be. That place is MONEY.

I wouldn't stay at Circus Circus if they paid me. Too many kids...too far away from everything.. .Just bad.

Central location but cheaper will be Flamingo...

99.9 % of the Time I stay at the Mirage.

Not saying the Mirage isn't a Good place for Young people, because there is Plenty of Young people there.

But I think you would have a Better time at maybe the Palms or Plant Hollywood

Palms too far from everything else...Planet Hollywood might be ok but I've never stayed there. My old host from CP is there now though so might check it out. Last word on the subject.. you WANT to stay in mid strip....otherwise it will be a lot of cab fare....those maps are deceiving.. you can't tell how big the casinos really are and how far away these things that look close really are. Take a cab one night down to Fremont street ....it will all be good.

True, never thought about the Travel around town. Was just thinking about a Place that has a Young Crowd.

Mid Strip is Good, That's Why I'm always at the Mirage :drink:

Stay at Bill's Gambling Hall. The location can't be beat. It's the middle of the strip and you can walk anywhere instead of taking a lousy cab. Take the money you save there and hang out in Caesars across the street. The women can do the spa thing or shopping there as well.

Mirage is decent.. Just seems kind of closed in to me...low ceilings...but I love the tropical theme....and that bar when you first come in where they have live music. Another perfect location.

You need to ask the forum where the lower limits are as that weekend the town fills up and you'll be lucky to find a $10 minimum table.

Downtown has the lower minimum's and the girls will have fun on the midway(what the hell is the name of that street?)as live music, laser light shows and so forth.

Fremont Street. I love down town. Will stay there every trip unless there is some good reason to stay elsewhere.

My 1st trip out I was a kid fresh outta the Army. Stayed at the Stardust. Damn room was big enough to park a motor home in (if they had of had motor homes back then).

Everything then as now is too far apart on the strip to suit me.

I'd go with the Mirage if you can the right deal. I know I've been getting offer for like $70 weekday $120 weekend and I barely played there, just some poker and maybe 10 minutes of video poker.

Mirage is solid all around with renovated rooms which are really nice for a standard room at that price. Good location if not the best.

Plus if you stay at the really nice places first time you will have nothing to look foward to. Wouldnt recommend staying at the 5 star places the first time out there. Bit overkill wehn you will be impressed with jsut a second level place like Mirage, Ceasers first trip out there.

For example my first few trips we stayed at MGM, NYNY, Luxor (suite) and thought they were all excellent. Now I usually stay at Venetian or Wynn and wouldnt want to go back to the other places I used to think were great.

Tuscany is the best value in Vegas. Sweet little casino and huge 600 sq ft rooms. You aren't on the Strip, but very close to Bally's and close to Hard Rock as well. Inexpensive compared to Strip Hotels, and much better rooms.

Stay the LV Hilton. It's off the strip, but they have the Monorail that takes you all the way to the other end of the strip. You can buy a 3 day pass for $25 I think, can't remember.

Nice sportsbook, ok rest., nice spa, 4 bars, usually plenty of $10 tables and they just remodeled their rooms not to long ago.

Nice place, only place I stay while in Vegas

Agree that Caesars is nice as long as you stay in the Palace or Augustus Tower. The other rooms are known as "classic" rooms. They are very overpriced for what you get.
