Please Shrink, please discuss reality as we know you're capable of. 9-1 would indicate around +217 average per game. Even as a 12 seed, I think you know the odds would be higher than that. I was probably being generous having them at only +6.5 against Pitt and and against Wash I think we're looking at more like +8 or 8.5. The ML's would probably be like +280 and +350 -- more like around 16-1. Even if they win tonight and get the bid, 9-1 to make the Sweet 16 is no bargain, the actual odds would likely be considerably higher.

In that bracket ODU would have Washington in game 2, can you imagine that contrast in style in that game? Washington isn't a big team but the speed and pace, wow.

I'm not "ragging you" or going opposite. And I'm not even sure that we are disagreeing. I didn't make a pick at all in my post, just positing an opinion on what the hypothetical odds might be in the matchup we were discussing. Are you disagreeing with my odds projections or do you just not appreciate detailed discussions on odds and strategy. I'm not even saying ODU won't make the Sweet 16, all I'm saying is that it is not a good deal at 9-1.

I hope ODU wins tonight, it'll be fun to see them in the tourney. I'm rooting for them and for you.
