Where does one go to find out the "public" opinion? Wagerline? Or is there something better? My experience with Wagerline is most people are just clickers - pick a box and click it. The guy who was doing best for most of this season is "DC6". I took a look at his picks one day and they made no sense whatsoever. Upon a closer look, I saw that all he did was pick the home team and the under for every game. I checked back for a week straight and it never changed. So, my point is, I'm not sure what the value is on a site like that except to feel better when you reach the same results when you cap the game yourself.

eventually, people will learn that going against the fictional public is a good way to lose a lot of money betting games one would normally steer clear from in the first place. clearly, the public knows how to pick straight up winners in baseball. it doesnt mean they are smart enough to manage their money and avoid turning 2-1 days into break-even or losing days. but then again, if anyone really thinks there is a significant public side in a game between the pirates and padres, well ....

haren is the best pitcher in baseball right now. i really would be surprised if frisco scratched more than 2 runs across. problem is zona wont back him up with run support all the time. but i think zona is well worth the 3/2 lay ... and im a primarily a dog bettor.
