How can anyone call this an AOL problem ? I already stated that I have had AOL for 10 years and every other site works great except Pinnacle. Also, AOL and Pinnacle have worked great for me for years. Now Pinnacle has become a slug and suddenly I notice that others are posting about Pinnacle being so slow.

I also have cable and no problems really.... except for the first day I joined-- their java applet(with the different tracks) would load with some amounts & bet types missing. I've now been on every day for one month with no problem whatsoever.
It does use up some system resources-- after a whole day of having several online totes, a different betting exchange, a couple of video feeds--- then i notice slowdowns... but nothing a reboot wouldn't fix....
Even though you're not having problems w/ other sites, sometimes it can be a dns resolving problem-- not so much maybe with your isp's dns resolver, but maybe with some relay point down the line.... I've used treewalk/bind le for years: http://ntcanuck.com/

I've been talking with pinnacle about my problem. When it got to the point of asking for my money back things changed. They did something because I went from not getting thru at all for days to the fastest it has ever been. Of course they everlooked my mention of missing a bet on the Yankees. Thanks for all the help guys, we're back in action.
