i followed this during pro and ncaa hoops and found that there really wasnt much of a difference.Im glad that its worked for you but what sport have you found that it works the best in?

Nobody knows they are on the wrong side until it loses. If it wins they are on the right side. The thought that you can tell which is the right side AND WIN before the game starts is ridiculous. All I got from reading WEEKENKALKI's post is that he loses at Pinnacle and maybe he has started the weekend early.

Nonsense. I've made money betting the plus at Pinny. Especially in horse props where they are up a creek with no paddle. Whoever is making those props needs to stop hitting the pipe. They don't know horses. At least not yet.

if they are such good handicappers and this trend is so obvious what would stop them from making the wrong side(since they already know the outcome) the favorite?

actually this is exactly what i think they do. i posted here many months ago that using pinnacle for a "line service" will lead you straight to the poor house. ESPECIALLY in basketball. i tracked this with their halftime numbers last season and i can assure you that the "fav" came nowhere near winning 58% of the time.

nice theory but im sorry it just isn't that easy.

CFL Crummy Foreign League? Where do I sign up for the CFL handicapping contest? In relationship to other, non NFL leagues where is the CFL compared to XFL, Arena, Europe, USFL? Can anyone here name last 5, what is it Gray Cup champs? All Canadians DQ'd. I can't even tell you the teams, what cities or names. Maybe because it is played in June? Technically Pinnacle wasn't "correct" on the Det/CWS game, they actually opened +113/-121 Then they went to +119/-127, THEN went right back to 113/-121.

I had to call to verify becaue I missed that number at +119, it was there for maybe 10 minutes, but it was a correct line.

Well, if they end up unbalanced booking the over at-135/-140 they offer under 10 at +120/+125 late. Then the game ends on a 9 or 10 for a big win.

If their book is balanced they don't move off the number.

I've tried hard to find some useful trends regarding Pinny's lines but no success so far. The closest thing I could come up with is that the midpoint of the line they offer at any point in time is a pretty damn good estimator of the true probability of the game.

I agree that if they are offering a spread of -6 -115, then you are probably better off taking -6 -110 somewhere else than picking off their +6 +105

The old Pinny is begging us to take this side or that side argument. I have found that by coming up with your own plays (not following steam) that Pinnacle can offer very betable lines. The trick is to pick your spots. One very betable spot as Treehouse mentioned is horse match-ups. Baseball is another sport that offers plenty of excellent numbers. Don't try to chase steam, cap your own plays, and bet the best number available, Pinnacle or not.
