And it makes no sense cause in most flats races there is a large enough handle that a dime really won't change things, but at a small track a dime will make a 10-1 shot go to even money or less! These are the tracks these books should lay off to!

ellen you are correct its easy to check if your money went in these pools if the pools are pretty small. They might be able to however press a button and put something in. My guess is that they have the ability to snap it inot the pool at any moment but usually do not. Just my $0.02 or should I say $200?

Ellen,
I believe you cause I monitor races I play too and its easy to tell on the smaller tracks if your wager was added or not!

Yes they put them into pari. As a matter of fact....they put them in through IASbet of Australia. Now maybe IAS is booking some of them....But I can assure you they are betting through IAS

If they are dumping thoroubreds into pools they are propb aly making between 11 and 12% bcause of the low take out NY calif rebates are lower at them tracks handle is large and a big persentage of there volume is there

Pinny has posted rules on their website stating that they will triple your payoff if you hit a wager which isn't hit in the track pool (this happens from time to time with longshots in supers), so it would surprise me a great deal if they are dumping EVERY wager into the US pools...

ellen....since you now know that I AM a know it all....here is your tax ticket answer.....IASBET doesnt have tax tickets....they are a foriegn entity..and dont get the same tax issues some Americans do. they do have issues...but you would never know about them...its a cash flow issue. They will get all the take outs back..but have to float it for a while.

As for them not taking some of their action and dumping it it into the pools....I agree...they are sending it to iasbet and I am sure that ego maniac over their books them.

By the way....thanks for noticing that I was a know it all...lol

Pinny lays off almost all horse wagers. But if you have an agent that takes some of your action they will layoff the percentage that they keep.Did you notice that Bay Meadows max payoffs changed. They are not group B anymore.I wonder why?I actually now why,but Ill let you guys figure it out.
