I know it's early, but wanted to get a head start on this

I'd like to run this contest that we used to have here long ago, called Pick The Dog

If it's not sponsored by the site, then maybe we can build a group together with a post up fee

It's mainly been used for the NFL Season

The concept is you are only allowed to pick Teams that are dogs (+points and/or the ML)

You are required to pick a minimum of BOTH, by the end of the season

There are probably some here who participated in it back in the day, and they can attest that it really makes you think

In post #2 below, you will find a link to an old sign up thread just to get an idea of the rules and see all of the ppl who signed up then

The thread is old so it could be a little distorted

In Post #3, I have pieced 3 separate pictures together of the score sheet to show you how that works

The contest will last the complete 17 week schedule of NFL Regular season

Each player is required to post 44 total plays (No More - No Less) for these 17
weeks.

By end of the 17 week NFL season, you MUST have made a total of
22 selections on MONEYLINE DOGS only (Oakland Raiders +165)

AND

22 selections on DOGS PLUS POINTS only (Philadelphia Eagles +6.5)

This equates to the required 44 games in the 17 Weeks Of The Regular Season

If you do not have exactly 44 plays by the end of the contest, you will be
disqualified.!

YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PICK THE ML AND SPREAD ON THE SAME GAME

You may select up to 1-3 games per week, but no more than 3

Point standings are based on actual money won/lost

I play in as many contests as I can if I think I have even a modicum of proficiency in the sport(s) contested. But all the contests I play in here are post up contests. Yu can keep that book sign up stuff. Not interested if that is involved.

Otherwise I'd love to play in a contest like this.

Based on the other contests that's been going on here amongst each other in contest forum, what $ amount would you/you guys think with this one

The Mock Hilton is the Big Daddy here. Pretty sure our entry fee was $250.00. That's a format made famous in Vegas and NFL handicappers like.

So you'd be running second fiddle to that contest. I'd say $100.00 entry fee would get a pretty good response. At least I would think so.

What do you guys think?
