huh? :think2:
but phils had mets yearly collapse to thank...or they might be gone fishing!...:lolBIG:

get a clue jordy, mets and phils were neck and neck all season with phils in first most of the year, if the phils would have lost that division would have been the real collapse.

and face it your only a dodgers fan cause you would get poped by the crips in compton for wearing a red angels hat:nohead:

Good one. The eagle should have pink hair! :lol: I like the Phillies here, be surprised if Manny sees a good pitch the whole series. Dodgers other hitters have to come up big and I'm thinking that won't happen again this series.

Dodgers in 5. Phillies better hope Utley and Howard start swinging the bats or could be a sweep. Burrell will find LAD pitching a bit tougher than pathetic Brewers. Really believe Dodgers are hottest team in playoffs and sure FOX-TV wants a Dodgers/Sox series or revenue goes to the shitter.

Either way this will be a great series...good luck to all

dodgers have to be the play here. their pitching staff is significantly better than philly's, and at the same time its not as if the dodgers dont have a good batting order....they're seeing the ball really well right now.

the cubs might be chokers, but they still have a good pitching staff that got its ass handed to them by a good batting order.

LA should roll here

Hamels > Lowe
Myers = Billingsley
Moyer = Kuroda
Blanton > Kershaw

Phillies bullpen > Dodgers bullpen

Ruiz < Martin
Howard > Loney
Utley > Dewitt
Rollins > Furcal
Feliz = Blake
Burrell < Manny
Victorino = Kemp
Werth = Ethier

Phillies seem to have the advantage in my opinion. Add in home field advantage Phillies in 6.

Manny also used to receive a fair amount more pitches in Boston than he should be in this series with LAD. I say pitch around him most of the time... make the other guys beat you

I took the Phillies to win the series and game 1. I think it's a close matchup, but I think the home field advantage will be a factor.

The Dodgers were really handed a gift by playing the Cubs, Dempster looked like he was on crack for game 1, then the Cubs got that "deer in the headlights look". Too bad it wasn't a seven game series so I could bet on the Dodgers for one more game.

Those are so off. Typical homer. Billingsley, Kuroda, and Kershaw are all better.

I think its funny how LA fans can jump between teams like its nobodies business. Half the clowns were Angels fans, and now they have jumped ship to Manny and Co. They would have jumped to the Clippers if Kobe would have taken the deal. Thats the biggest problem with LA, all these people are such homers for teams they dont even care about. Imagine a Yankees fan turning to the Mets or a Cubs fan suddenly wearing Black and White. Id rather see the Philly fans get their team to the World Series. I hate LA.

Go Phillies!

:dancefool

Lemme clear somthing up. That line between the Angels and Dodgers is a distinct wall. Angels fans are all high and mighty down in Orange County who think Dodgerfans should mow their lawns and clean their homes. They're also fairweatherfans.

Dodgerfans on the otherhand run generations all the way back to the OMalley's. Those fans don't jump ship trust me. Furthermore Dodgerfans despise Angel fans. Conversely Angel fans are happy they have a winning team to root for. Cause if the Anal's weren't winning, there wouldn't be any Anal fans.

Get it?

Phillies are the better all around team IMO - I'll be on them. Having Hamels available twice gets you half way there most likely!
