I don't think the wrong team was favored. Pedro was pitching like shit and Eaton has good career # vs. the Mets. This is why baseball is hard to cap because you can't predict for shit like this to happen.

Is something wrong with Philly? Or are just the streaky team they appear to be? They get rolling then hit a wall. Cant keep a longer run going. Just wonder if theres any local knowledge here. Theyre getting hard to play from an out of state perspective. I mean you can read all you want, just not like being there sometimes. TIA.

i dont think wrong team favored.....i just think the line was skewed one way for phillie backers "doubling down" after some losses last 2 days, and figuring "no way phils lose this series".......line prolly -106 phils, -104 mets woulda made just as much sense to me....

They had chances to win the two prior games, but the bullpen let them down. They sweep the Braves as they seem to play better on the road. We will see what happens tomorrow with Hamels starting though that line is way too high for me to take the Phillies.

They have been slumping since 13 games over .500 going into inter-league! All offensively.. Braves sweep was a sign of how bad Braves are!


Braves under 7.5 even is a late play for you all...

The bullpen as a whole is good, but Gordon is the weak line. Luckily he is on the DL and Durbin made a good pitch to Tatis, but he knocked it out of the park. It has been more of the offense not performing lately than the pitching besides tonight. Still Coste has had two chances to get them back in the game and he has failed both times.

Wow I keep seeing guys on this...I know all the past perf on this game and pitchers but thats a number reserved normally for two goood/ace pitchers. I dont get it, yet.
