one thing for sure, zona bullpen is sh!t. at least phily does have the better pen. problem is that when phily goes flat, they can't buy a run no matter who's pitching.

Happ is pitching very well in this game. He only gave up 3 hits and that 1 bad pitch to Upton is the differance in this game so far. I have a feeling Philly will wake up soon. They just need to see the pitcher a couple times before they figure him out.

because people just look at happ's record instead of how he reached that record, thats why if anything the line was high

I disagree if anyone bet on this game just because of his record then that a loss tonight would be their own faults. Much better reasons, starting with the fact that his ERA is 5 points lower than the opposition, he plays on the defending champs who have been hot since the all star break, they have a ridiculous record on the road at 31-15 while the Dbacks have lost 10 more games than they have won at home.. etc

That and the fact the Phillies are 19-3 their last 22 games.....and facing a pitcher who hasn't won a game all season and is a regular starter....I think the line was very low under these considerations..

What edge would you give to Arizona when making a line for this game? Certainly not lineup, pitcher, venue, defense, or baserunning?

7 pitches to take care of the top of the order. This kid is due for a let down very soon.

There wasn't one....thats why this hasn't been easy to swallow. Still a lot of game gents, yes I know. 2 runs do not mean squat to this Philly team....broken record for me. As lame as this is, one thing that helped convince me was seeing this game as a possible play for ESPN's streak for cash. There were like 98.9% on Philadelphia.....they do their best not to put dead giveaway games in that contest. They would lose millions on a weekly basis!
