stats to back Philly

Rangers 8-17 vs lefties this year. Moyer 6-1 lifetime with this ump behind plate. bigger strike zone bodes well for Moyer who likes to paint the corners.

ump has tendency to favor under - 10 of 15 games have gone under the total this yr.

The Cubs are the better team though. I think they take the early lead and win a close one. S. Marshall looked good earlier this week in his first start back since being called up. Plus he seems to pitch better in biggere games (ie Cardinals)
Your talking about him pitching at home last Tuesday and giving up 4 runs in 4 and 2/3's innings being strong:ohno: He lost that game to Balt.

I'm trying not to be a dick, but no wonder your looking at paying your bookie, with that mindset.

Thanks Mr Smith. I feel that way everytime Im down big, but when I win....its a blast. I do think Ill be done if I can get even, but most of us have said that to ourselves too many times.

Thanks for the vote of confidence though with Texas

Chicago Over/Under

White Sox are horrible vs. lefties and the Cubs rack lefties. Only thing in the Cubs favor.

Marshall 2.92 era vs White Sox, blanking them last yr at US Cellular.

Beuhrle's gone deep into games of late not giving up many runs - 5 in 4 games. Cubs do seem to hit him well though, especially D. Lee. And bullpens both got a lotta work yesterday.

like Under 9 and WSox

I hear ya, good luck.

I think the game is fairly even, Id say Texas should be about -100. I like them +120 then for sure as a bet.

wOODY...trust me I have gone on many runs in my lifetime even more than losing ones. The problem is the juice!

I will say this though. There were quite a few games today that I "liked" that I did not bet that lost. So Im hoping that I can just get two right tonight.

Life comes down to a few short moments and this is one of them.

Gibbz - just trying to help here. Rangers are AWFUL vs lefties (see prior post).

I cannot believe so many of you like the Phillies. On paper it looks like a winner, but that's why I like Texas.

Im a big fan on going the other way when so many people love a game...especially in the NFL. This is ONE time that it has to be true for me!

If your taking the Cubs, then you will be paying your book any way, no matter who you take in the Phillies game.
The CWS get the sweep tonight.

I place a major premium on what Benjamin Lee Eckstein says, in my opinion the best baseball handicapper living, and he's on CWS big today.

on paper the white sox look like the best play tonight. buehrle pitching lights out vs a guy who's gonna be sent back to AAA after this game (zambrano returns).

and the phillies are 2-8 last 10 not exactly tearing it up. so by no means an obvious side. backing the pitching and philly tonight.
