Obviously Allenby is the best shot. Weir needs to blow-up for Furyk to catch him. Good Luck tommorow.

the chances of weir blowing up seem pretty low. i watched most of the coverage today and this guy is a pressure putter man. he hit a couple long par putts.

if allenby doesn't get it done...i'm done for a while.

For what it is worth I see a matchup at pinny. Chad Campbell -116 over Charles Howell III. I worked the match up pretty hard and Cambell has much better numbers than Howell especially on this course. I played Campbell for 1 unit. He is tied for the lead and I can't decide if that is a good thing or not. Right now Campbell is minus 4 and Howell plus 2. I used a similar system as SeaUrchin comparing fairways and greens hit, I also looked at final rounds for the year by both guys. Campbell has been clutch all year. Both are young up and coming players. Caveat Emptor.

PS. Howell only has 5 birdies in three rounds and 7 bogies, he is just making pars mostly.
Campbell made 6 birdies with 1 bogie today alone.

Allenby shot 72 ended up plus 12
Appleby shot 70 ended up plus 8

Furyk 73 plus 7
weir 75 plus 4

If anyone cares Campbell beat Howell III by a shot to win a nice bet for Wilheim.

Kudos to Shaun Micheel for a great 2nd shot on 18 that won the tournament.

wil, congrats on your play. yes, it is too bad no one could post that 4th round play here. i ain't gonna lie, the last two weeks have cost me. bad enough to lose but to have weir tease me for four hours is a little much.

think i'm done with golf. good luck

at Firestone this week. Strong field with most of the top guys entered (including Tiger). Aussie Craig Parry won last year. This could be a good spot for Allenby to make up for the PGA.
BTW. Parry won last year with a score of 16 under, this course is a lot more playable than the PGA's brutal Oak Hill course. How about that shot on 18 by Shaun Micheel, one of the greatest ever in a major.
Sea looking forward to your valuable info this week. Good Luck, and thanks for posting.
