Peyton was OK with less than Brady, He didn't want to be paid more than Tom Brady.

Don't think anyone was offended, just surprised from reading it

What you are saying really makes no sense. If he went to another team and sucked what would the excuse be? I don't know, it hasn't happened? What does that even mean.

You act like the Pats have had the dream team around him. All sports is subjective on some level but I can say with pretty good confidence having seen Brady play over 150 times that he is 1 of the best QBs ever....

Montana had Bill Walsh and Jerry Rice...Would love to hear your opinion on him.

Again... what is wrong with the FACTS that I posted?

Does the truth hurt?

Brady is I great player and I'm sure probably a great guy.

But he's done it with 1 team.
Manning has done it with 2 now when most fail at that.
As for Brady being a product of the system, there's no way I can prove he is, and no way you can prove that he isn't.

All I know is the odds are against star NFL players being successful with new teams, and Manning has proven that he can dominate anywhere, while we will likely never know if Brady could do the same since he will probably retire with the Pats, as my original point was in my first post on the subject...

If he was a product of the system then Bill Belichick is a fuckin idiot for paying him like 150M over the past 10 years. Just get a replacement level QB and put the savings into other positions...

Also how can you say star NFL players being successful with new teams is low? The # of HOF QBs in their prime that have switched teams you could probably name on 1 hand, if that....

The only fact you posted was that Manning has played with 2 teams and Brady 1..I don't consider that a viable metric to judge how good players are, maybe you do and if thats the case it is subjective I guess. Usually if you play with 1 team your whole career it happened for a reason. If you were replaceable, they would've replaced you rather than give you 8 figures...

Ha funny you bring up head coaches because I was going to leave out the fact that Brady has played under Belichick who you guys like to say is th greatest ecoach ever.
So are you going contradict your claim that Brady has had all of this success on his own and hasn't benefited from this great coach?

Funny i keep posting facts as my argument vs only opinions.
If it were left up to the court who would win, facts or opinions lol...

wtf?

Have you even bothered to read my posts? I've listed tons of factual information. Did you miss it?

What do you mean you were going to "leave out" that Brady played under Belichick, you already mentioned it. That is what the whole played for 1 team/organization thing means, playing under Belichick. Otherwise it is just laundry

I think you took a vacation to Colorado, you gotta be high

Pats I just saw your post about Jordan.
Cmonnn man I know you know basketball, so you also know better than to compare or use NBA players as an example when NBA stars can take over a game & carry a team like no other sport.

An NBA stud will always dominate no matter what team he ends up on.
That isn't true or guaranteed with other sports...

How do you know he would've been as good without the benefit of the triangle system? Phil Jackson the greatest coach of the modern era with 11 rings, almost 2x as many as MJ. Scottie Pippen 1 of the best perimeter defenders ever....The Bulls won a whopping 2 less games the 1st year he left to go play baseball.

I guess you can say he would've dominated and won multiple rings on another team, we'll never know....Can't prove it.

Your just stating an opinion, there really is no facts to back it up.

See what I just did? :)

I see what you did, but that's apples & oranges.
1 star NBA Player can rule a team.
A stud basketball player will always be a stud regardless of the team he plays for.
Not so in other sports which rely more on the entire team.
You know this....

By the way never done drugs my entire life lol (being serious)

I suppose that is getting off topic re: NBA players

You act like Manning joined up with the Raiders and took them to the superbowl though. I mean he joined the Broncos for a reason, this team won a playoff game with Tebow the year before!

I'm not sure how playing with some of the worst offensive talent in the league is some type of net positive for Tom Brady. He led them to 12 wins in spite of their talent this year if anything...

Ok my last post on the conversation about Manning/Brady who i could care less if both retired today....

If we were in an alternate universe and we know everything we currently know about Peyton Manning & Tom Brady, they are both young again, and we have the #1 pick, I take Manning because there zero question marks on him being successful on any team.... That's the bottom line

It's all facts vs opinions.

I'm a Bucs fan and I could argue that Hall Of Famer Derrick Brooks was a better all around LB than Ray Lewis, but a?

Are you going to counter my opinion with facts or mere opinion?

But then again I suppose opinions are part of sports discussion and makes sites like this interesting....:)

I posted tons of facts relating to the players situations and why the 2 teams vs 1 team thing is a strawman, you just didn't really bother to read them.
