Brady: 3 Lombardis, 5 Super Bowls, 8 AFC title games since 2001.

That is damn impressive.

who's your daddy Peyton?

c'mon, don't be shy

we know, or at least we should know

BTW: how much do the Patriots suck this year?

This tells me that Bill Bellichick> Then every Peyton Manning coach.

More then it does Brady>Manning

People can say what they want about my homer mentality.

But nobody can find anywhere in all my post in the history of this forum where I have ever disrespected the PATS and Brady and Bellichick.

Those guys deserve all the credit in the world.

I was not on this forum after week 2 telling everyone the patriots and brady was done like 90% of this place was doing.

They are the premiere franchise in the NFL and the only franchise that the Saints look up to.
Bellichick is the only coach that if someone says he is better then Sean Payton I dont laugh to myself when someone says that.

Brady/Manning
So close to call.
They are both GOAT quality.

Just be happy you guys get to see both play.

Your opinion is laughed at everywhere. You lie every single day, a mod called you a liar, you are dead broke and voted the most worthless poster here and your biggest bet in years is a bet with another poster regarding avatars. Lmao...time for you to give up

Even after all that ,commenting on other peoples bets AFTER the games are final, while never posting a play after your college basketball burials duing the ncaa tournament flopped....that is the sign of pure vile scum.

hype vs results, I take results

Peyton always surrounded by stability, by superstar or dare I say even HOF receivers, while poor ole Tom makes a nobody look good so they can move on and make the big bucks before they crash down to earth

Thats the part I disagree with.
Besides Thomas Peyton is not playing with any superstars either.

Both of these QB's have been able to make everyone around them better their entire career.

Since when did Emmanual Sanders, Eric Decker, J Thomas, become superstars?

While place can certainly overreact to the latest results, I do think if you told people after the KC loss "Look, Gronk is gonna be regular Gronk in a few weeks then what do you think of NEs chances?" They probably would've been a little more rational.

Dude has just been hurt so many times it was tough to know if he would fully comeback.

Without Gronk, NE offense becomes average in a hurry.

Before Tebow tookover, Decker was very productive with Orton at QB. I know it is hard for people to wrap their heads around a white WR being good unless there is overwhelming evidence but he had been productive in his career without Manning. Even now, he has been OK with the Jets considering how messed up they are. Dude is a very good WR, especially in the RZ.

Sanders is a solid player too. Belichick, who you just touted, tried to sign him 2yrs ago but Pitt matched the offer sheet. Thomas is a huge red zone mismatch because of his size.

Also "Besides Thomas" in general kinda a funny statement don't you think? He is the best WR in the NFL probably. Welker is the Pats all time leader in recepts...

I mean you see Wayne, Garcon struggling in their careers after Manning left them? He has had a plethora of talent around him his entire career. Nothing wrong with that but he hasn't had to do more with less like Tommy Brady

I am not here to disrespect Brady.
I never have and never will.

What I said had more to do with my defense of Manning then it did with downplaying Brady.

Drew Brees is the one who has put up the incredible numbers without any superstars.
The next WR he throws a TD pass to that went to a probowl will be his first TD pass he throws to a probowl WR
Guy has over 50K passing yards and not a single one of them to a probowl WR.

Thats something neither manning or brady can say.

But if people want to say Brady>Manning im fine with that.

I just dont understand why people have to trash the other guy in order to make that statement.

All im saying is Brady is plenty good enough in his own right without having to trash the other guy to make your point.

Both are GOAT quality.

Just enjoy it.

Not a pro bowl WR kinda deceiving when Graham is the TE. Also had the best RB and best TE in SD if you wanna go back....

I do enjoy watching them play. I'm just saying any narrative about his offensive weapons that starts with "Manning doesn't have a boatload of talent around him" is wrong to me. He is a great player but this isn't a LeBron on the Cavs part 1 situation or anything...

Eric Decker is a really good WR. Eric Decker would be the 2nd best or 3rd best WR Brady has ever had probably.

remember when?

the Pats were in last place behind Miami, Buffalo and the New York Football Jets?

Denver was going unbeaten?

Seattle was the best team in football

the Saints were a lock to win 13 games?

people wanted to bet who would lose first on teams when a better bet who would win first?

Well you can use the TE argument against Brady as well.

And there is no magic playing in an indoor stadium.
The Super Dome did not help Aaron Brooks, Danny Wuerffel, Heath Schuller, and Billy Joe Hobert when they were in N.O.
It has not helped any QB with the Vikings since Favre, or St Louis since Warner.

There is no magic way to make a qb good artificially.

You are either good or your not good.

All these QB's we are talking about would be successful no matter where they played.

I never said Brady had no weapons whatsoever though. I just said over the large sample Manning consistently had more. I know Gronk is the best TE to ever play and w/o him NE offense would become ordinary in a hurry. That just enhances any debate in favor of Brady more. What other QB in NFL history has had their #1 weapon be down late in the playoffs 3 straight years? That is a brutal beat.

The dome doesn't help the caliber of player they are, but it helps their #s a lot over time. There are no elements or conditions whatsoever, obviously it is gonna make playing offense easier...duh. It just makes the game a lot easier for the offense. Manning/Brees/whoever are greatly benefitted by this.

Also Kurt Warner IS overrated. Another discussion for another time though I suppose but you don't just become completely irrelevant for the entire middle part of your career if you are an elite HOF QB.

Why do you think you won the most worthless poster poll by such a large margin?

Why do you lie so much?

Quick go run to poly forum and post about me now. While you're there...can you ask willie how he can ridicule someone for hitting 50 percent while he hits 39 percent?

Thanks liar...time for you to get a job....can't have mom and dad support you forever!

Everyone loves Kurt Warner because he loves god and puppies and kisses babies, etc. I mean I'm not saying he sucks but he isn't some great generational QB. Just a solid QB that ran incredibly good in his career.

He comes out of nowhere in STL and they have Faulk, Bruce, Holt in their primes. Then that situation goes bad after a few years and they cut him for Bulger after '03. He basically isn't heard from again until 2008 when the Cards decide they wanna giveup on Leinart and go with him. This team also has the best WRs in the league then and he strings together a few good years before retiring.

That's a HOF career? That is 1 of the best QBs ever?

Has any other legendary QB just become irrelevant for 5 years in the middle of their career?

Agree about Decker. The fact that he has a few td catches with those qb's on that team is nothing short of a miracle.

When Brady got hurt, the Pats won 11 games with Matt Cassel; think the defense might deserve some credit for NE's success? We know what happened to the Colts the year Manning got hurt.

Playing in a controlled home environment has no bearing on passing performances?

C'Mon man, that's just plain silly. Of course rain and wind and snow and freezing conditons impact the passing game

How on earth can anybody argue otherwise?

the cassel team won 11 games with an easy schedule, they lost to most of the good teams they played that year and a lot of the games weren't very close. How bad could NE have possibly been? they were 16-0 the year before with a brutal schedule and were 1 of the best teams of all time. They weren't just gonna go 5-11.

Indy was 10-6 the year before Manning got hurt, of course they were gonna suck w/o him
