are you delusional buddy? I'd take Tom Brady over Manning any day of the week, why? Because he wins the big ones. Wait, just ask your greatest qb ever and see what he has to say about that one.

Manning can't win the big game, he chokes under pressure, he really is decent at stepping up in the pocket but he can't move "around" well in the pocket. He's an above average NFL QB but he isn't in the league of the Mc Nabb's Brady's and Favre's of the world and never will be.

Had this discussion before, I said Montana and a posters made some great points for Young. After looking at the stats his were better than Montana's. Something about Joe I liked though.

Most over rated big name qb without a doubt in my mind was Elway, all those comebacks because he was behind. Didn't win his superbowls until all he did was hand off.

Manning seems like a nice guy but his career in colloege and pro is he plays like he is a Yankee in the divisional playoffs, a no show.

FINALLY, where were you last time we had this discussion? lol. Elway and Namath are the two most overhyped, overrated QB's in NFL history. Elway was great.....but when ESPN named him the BEST QB ever I wanted to destroy something. Elway never put up great numbers or Super Bowl wins until Shanahan took over and turned Elway into a game manager, not a gunslinger. Elway as a gunslinger too often put his team in holes. Look at the facts: Elway only had one more TD than INT after his first 10 seasons in the league and Denver then decided to take Tommy Maddox in the 92 draft....this made Elway realize that he was not a gunslinger and only a game manager (to his credit). Elway also has 3 TD's to 8 INT's in the postseason I believe. Even during the game manager part of his career he was still turnover prone in the playoffs. (Note: there is someone in the NFL right now who's career path is taking an uncanny resemblance to Elway's......his name is Jake Plummer)

Shanahan and Davis led the Broncos to those Super Bowls.....not Elway. And to put him in the Top 3 or Top 5 all time is just ridiculous.

Wow. How so many of you are mistaken. Not sure where to begin.

But, first of all, any of you living in the 50's, that never happened. A high school quarterback today is better than an NFL is the 1950's. Just a fact.

Second orf all, if Dam Marino is as great as people say and Manning breaks all his records which he is on pace to do, what can we say about that especially when he hands off to a RB that still gets 1,500 plus yards while he throws for over 4,000 for 6 staright seasons.

Tom brady got the benefit of beijg ion thye right place at the right time,. Great coach, breat defense, average offense unless of course you beleibve in the 3 SB bullshit in saying that Dilfer and Brad Jonhson atre both better. Belleichick is a genious ay putting together different dfefenses that throttle Manning's superhero powers.

Come on guys, i'm a self-proclaimed genious, I think I should know.

Manning probably the modern day Marino.

Both rack up big numbers in the passing game with good arms and accuracy.

Both have great receivers:
Duper/Clayton - Harrison/Wayne

Both teams good during regular season play.

Both can't win the Super Bowl. Manning can't even get to one (yet).

both have never had a super bowl caliber defense

while brady, trent dilfer, and brad johnson have

funny how that works hand in hand

defense wins championships

by the way the original poster of this thread is a major ghost of some kind
