I don't claim it's treason - I could care less what Peter does or says on his own time, but please, 'free press'??? Lol - if Peter believes that, then why isn't he trying to remain in Baghdad and report on his own dime? Yes, the problem is that someone was paying his bills and, based on wiser heads at NBC, realized exactly what it was Peter had done, and NBC did not want to be associated with this guy, though why they were surprised when he showed the same colors he has before, I don't know.
Joey, please don't hesitate to post the names of reporters working for the US media who have been fired for offering their opinions in the 'free press', opinions offered outside of Iraq. Please. But you know that the overwhelming evidence is that the 'free press' is indeed free to say what they want (see any White House and CENTCOM briefing) as long as they aren't doing it on the Butcher Boy's network, so this whole Arnett discussion is silly, made doubly ridiculous by Peter's own admission.
Case closed for me.
