You have a point and many would agree with you. There are very few gamblers who make a living off of the gambling. I would doubt almost anyone who claims to be a big winner from gambling. 99% of the People who make money gambling do it thru arbitration and taking advantage of bad lines and bad odds posted by the casinos on games.

I am not impressed at all by anybody on ANY forum when it comes to actually knowing how to make money gambling and knowing the odds before they are posted. No one has shown me they know anything except basic crap.

I said out of the 99% of the Bettors that DO WIN it is mostly done by NOT gambling. So even if someone is a winner gambling, it probably was done by NOT gambling. And yes you can gamble without gambling as many, many people know and as Fishead himself knows.

Scalping and Middling and Booking are the best ways to make money betting on sports and that's how most have done it. There are a few exceptions, but we all know who they are.

That may be true but it is not exclusive behaviour of posters here at The Rx. only. Guys love to gamble all over the world and a large majority are looking for that one person (saviour) who can pick winners for them. Young, miidle aged or old, billions of people world wide want to gamble and of course win while doing so. Forums like this attract players looking for information, some are better off for it while others are not. 40 years ago I baught my first Gold Sheet looking for that saviour, looking for winners is nothing new. Grinding out a living like some guys do takes a lot of discipline and hard work, not to mention brains and a bankroll to get started. Gambing is a very difficullt way to make an easy living.
