I didn't like the pick at first, but after I saw how the first half played out I pounded the 2nd half under and won over 10K.

Since everybody knows that last night was the start of another 48-8 streak, keep betting every game at 5X.

48-8 at 5X should clear you about +196 units.

I think MOB's whole thing is completely ridiculous. He wants his cake and to be able to eat it too. According to him a 48-8 run and 40 + units in 4 months in MLB is pure luck, yet a 6-8 run in the playoffs is a definite and accurate reflection of handicapping ability. And the basis of this argument is that the 48-8 run primarily involves favourites and overs. The overs were all -110 to -120 juice maximum, the sides were -150 tops and from memory I recall most sides being in the -120 to -130 range, so not heavy juice.

But according to MOB that is not allowed. You must pick dogs or unders for your betting record to be valid and not luck based. How stupid is that? I have seen guys, not naming names, with detailed write ups, betting only select dogs and being down 40 odd units.

How do you evaluate that MOB? Fucks up your argument, no? Seems picking actual winners is what its about…..

Seems to me that you think value can only be found with dogs and unders and never with favourites or overs. That's load of crap, there can be value on favourites and overs, where the books have given a line that reflects a greater chance to win than in reality. You take those prices.

I said it many times in regular season that Pennywise bet 1 game a day on a play that he believed represented value. Why criticise someone for being good at picking a value play that WINS – whether it be a favourite or over?
I would rather pick 1 winner than multiple dog losers because the price looked good.
All you are doing MOB is criticising someone when the record isn’t great (over a short period) and then minimising the accomplishment of the good record by attributing it to luck alone.
Pretty sad really….
I don’t know enough about you or your history to talk about your betting records, so I won’t. But I would be intrigued to see how well you have done in the past and see if you are all mouth and no action….
