All I know is that the guy was very friendly the entire summer, even as his threads gained readership and negativity. He seemed happy to help people with capping when asked. He never appeared arrogant.

PatsFanatic, which game did I neglect to include in the following MLB log? Every game PW has posted at the
other site in contained here. This is the CONTROLLING variable from now on. If you point out the missing game,
I'll promptly ammend/correct the MLB record. As of now, I see 6 wins 6 losses 1 push.

I found my error in Comment #431 where I had credited PW with an extra LOSS. I didn't catch it until recently,
and this prompted me to do this detailed MLB log.

The only problem people have with the "mongrel forum" is that a ton of people made money off of PW's picks, me included. Say what you want about his handicapping skills, but he had a great run in MLB this year. Those of us tailing would just like to receive his plays without relying on Incubus. Incubus is doing an outstanding job, but he is in a different timezone than most of us, so we miss some of the plays. If the "mongrel forum" wants a higher profitable capper to lurker ratio, why don't they just open the forum up to the public and only allow the cappers to post?

Pistolwhip, thanks for your response. I’ll respond to any intelligent and respectful conversation. I’ll again accept responsibility for making some mistakes. This is the 1st time I’ve started a forum. I challenge anyone here to step forward and say you’ve never made mistakes in your life.

The reason some people were temporarily banned was because I was trying to weed out people leaking things to this site. I’ve come to realize my time is much too valuable to me to chase people around the internet.

As far as only allowing cappers to post, I did think about this to some extent. But there is some sort of satisfaction to posting plays for others to benefit off. I’ll use myself as an example since I don’t want to speak for anyone else. I’ve been doing well with CFB totals this year. An older gentleman who told me he was a Vietnam vet, and retired, sent me a note thanking me for the plays I put out there, and asked when I was going to put my plays out for this week. That made me feel good. Maybe by tailing me he made enough to take his family out to dinner, or even help pay some medical bills.

So I don’t want to totally limit people, but just cut down on the sheer volume that’s found here.
