they are saying here that they were cruising at a high rate of speed and hit the Jetty that jets out into the water...

Which is basically a WALL of sand and rock that jets out from the main land... it would be like hitting a brick wall....

Just read it on Yahoo myself.....very bad things happen when your boat lands on the rocks like that one did (shown in photo). Sad story. GL PW, stay the hell away from Jim Grobe, lol, Baylor's high flying attack is on ice until they find a permanent replacement.
