Hmmm, I could spend a day on this thread pointing out/breaking down stuff that peeps need to be told/reminded of, but I do not have the time. So short version.... (I don't have the time to go back and see who posted what, so I will be winging it.
1. (And, IMO, most important, whomever it was that said to yall "Guys, drop this crap or you are going to run off one of the best cappers to ever have been here. Wait and you will see", is dead on. The majority of the crap in this thread needs to be forgotten and out of PW's head. Thats what happens when your in a slump, stuff sticks in your head and you stay with it, versus moving on back to the higher plateau you were at when winning (such as in this case with PW). If you keep throwing darts, eventually he will get discouraged or pissed and pack up and leave. Too good a person for this to happen. Someone else pointed out that PW has taught many of us excellent tips, MM skills, etc....very true. Most of the "lessons" are 10X more valuable than the actual picks...for the future.
2. Inky, I feel you missed the point when PW said "Inky, keep that banana guy out of my threads", cuz you later posted "OK, I will keep the banana guy's record (or something to that affect) out of your thread". PW was not asking what you thought, he does not want to see that yellow banana (OR have any reference to that guy) posted in his threads. Later on, you posted a HUGE picture of a banana referencing that guy....DONT DO IT! It is bright yellow and CANT BE MISSED. How is someone that wants to get that whole reference out of his head if all he has to do is scour this thread and BAMMM, there's the HUGE yellow banana? Also, his lines are his lines. My book is a personal friend and will adjust lines from time to time for me...not often but he has. Heh, also, (not picking on you my friend), while you have toned down the negative stuff that usually occurs around the 6th inning or when things look bleak, you still offer up the negative stuff such as "This one's over, public bloodletting". While that is not too awful negative, I felt it was not near necessary to post in this thread during the game while it was indeed, looking bleak. PW hisself has said he doesn't mind some negative critique, however, at this particular time, I feel that we are sort of walking on eggshells here. The clown needs to clear his head and this is but a dig when read. I am sure PW considers you a friend and quite valuable with your record keeping, so try and remember that when posting at this particular juncture. He needs support not daggers.
3. To the person posting all his "I got this cheaper by buying it down to X% during pregame and with live bets". While this is all good info if true, it comes off as a sort of belittling of PW's pick dontcha think? PW's pick was the RL, not -1, not ML. His thread, his pick. Your posting of the buying it down (or whatever it was that was said) makes you look like you know/knew better.
4. Everyone gets a downturn here and there. PW has had fewer of these than most cappers on here. Anyone that followed him for awhile is waaaay ahead. Obviously he knows his stuff. Now he has a big following and I know he feels a sort of responsibility to that following to win. This provides even more pressure on him, and right now, that is not needed if he is indeed trying to clear his head and I am 100% positive that is where he is at. Cut the man a break, watch what you post (maybe proof-read it before hitting post), try to keep things civil. Last thing needed now is more unrest. We are all here to beat the man and make some dang money, and we got a pretty good skipper for that venture. I don't want to lose him over some mindless BS. PW, keep on keeping on Bro. Do your thing as only you can do it. We (or the majority of us) are behind ya and are extremely grateful for all you do.
I apologize in advance for grammatical errors, poster errors, and anything else that is wrong in this post LOL
