Penny,
Thanks for the play.
Question for you....I'm not bashing or picking by asking this, I'm just genuinely curious about one thing and wanted your insight on it since a few brought up the issue of line ups in this game and a couple of key players being rested for the brewers. I've been following your plays since day one and win or lose tonight I'm still on board
Anyway the question relates to the significance of rested players in your assessment of whether to wager on a game. So for example, from what I gather, you feel that the pitching matchup heavily favors the brewers. Does this weigh more heavily in your assessment than a couple of players dropping out the line up and being replaced by other players? Or in other words, does the loss of these 2 guys outweigh the pitching advantage you identified?
From what I understand about baseball and the way most look at the games is the pitching matchup. I mean you have the same teams playing each other over a 3-4 game series and the lines vary quite a bit depending on the starting pitchers. Rested batters it seems to me make up a small part of the equation when assessing a teams chances to win. It seems you assess many many variables on the road to selecting what game to wager on, and that's something I'm not very good at lol.
I'm interested in your thoughts on line ups vs starting pitching matchup.
Thanks again for your efforts PW.
