Not trying to rain on the Penny wise parade, but I know of 3 instances when Penny Posted a total and it moved up at least 1 run and then lost....
I have also observed lately when Penny Posts a total and it loses if you come back the next day on the total the same way you book a winner. That happened to today with the Jays & BRS and it will happen tmr with the Snakes and Chubbs

AZ-Cubs score 6 runs after 4 innings and then promptly shut down.
AZ LOB = 4 Cubs LOB = 6. Pathetic. The people who avoided this play
when the totals steamed up to 10 were very relieved and happy they passed.
In the B8th, Houston can't cash an insurance run after a leadoff triple.
Then men on 3rd and 1st with 1 out. Next 2 batters promptly strikeout. Unreal. Snakebit.
Houston then shits the bed after being up 5-4 with 2 outs B9th with Gregerson
blowing the save. It was his 2nd consecutive one. He absolutely sucks.
Thank God we scrapped this extra inning Houston win in B11th! WHEW!
1-1 ATS this time for a -0.20 unit juicing. Second day in a row.

That's 2-5 for the last 7, so we're definitely in some kind of "funk" (if you want to call it that). Nothing's been going according to
script recently or been easy. Something is "missing" from the old "magic" here. I can't put my finger on it.
I realize we're still way up and it's a long season, but we've all been spoiled with those early winning streaks.
Hopefully, we can get back on track soon with a stand alone WIN!:toast:

Well guys.. as I just wrote in my Sunday post...all we needed was BALL 4 on the base loaded late in the cubs game to hit 2-0.

yea... as the season goes along... games will get tighter and lines will get tighter. You will see more and more come down to one swing or one pitch. Like look at the game we won...the STROS last night... that game Houston tried SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hard to give to the A's and the A's couldnt cash it... then...bang....the one swing was in our favor...
