So much for the theory that Edison Volquez is a gas can. He pitched a gem of a game. Isn't there an accepted
gambling advisory against playing the RL with he home team? Potentially, one less AB with B9th? I thought I read
that somewhere. If a game is tied when the 9th inning is over, there is allegedly only a 7% chance that the home team
favorite will win by more than 1 run. Anyone confirm this theory?
I also see that BARONMAN is once again playing the part of the BAD JU JU GENERATOR. Unreal. He
shows up again with his mindless babble and the thread gets derailed. Is this why he was banned
from Covers? People are now saying his pigeon English routine is an "act?" I've always thought he was either
a foreigner (e.g., Mexico) where English isn't his native tongue or he's mentally challenged with
a mild retardation or learning disability. Now it's being revealed it's an "act?" If so, his shtick is repelling
quite a few people here at the Rx. Don't take my word for it. Just look at the firestorms in the threads he
frequents with his disjointed comments. I sure wish he'd stop the damn nonsense and post in normal English
people can read. Even PENNYWISE has a hell of a time understanding BARONMAN's gibberish.
Needless to say, I'm kicking myself in the balls for not playing both Cleveland and Texas the last several nights.
