Penn St blows Iowa out. Double digit win for them.
Iowa is a good team with a balanced game plan. You take them out of their game plan they will have a real problem.
I don't Iowa will be able to run the ball vs Penn St. I just don't see it.

Penn St -7 all day

USC would barley be a .500 team in either the Big 12 or SEC, And would have three losses in the Big Ten. They got OSU with a Freshman playing his first road game and their best back on the sidelines.

PSU got them on the road after Prior had time to adjust to playing at the pace of college football with Wells at full strength and still won.

PSU destroyed the 2nd best team in the PAC 10, that BTW beat USC. In no other conference could USC have 5 turnovers like they did against ASU and win. The PAC Ten is no better than the MAC or WAC in quality of teams.

5-0 is such an obvious USC homer that nothing he says can be taken seriously when discussing them.

you shitty big ten die hards dont know the first thing about elite college football teams. this year, and the past couple i have to say, the big ten has NOT CONTAINED AN ELITE FOOTBALL TEAM. look at penn st's schedule, are you kidding me????? they have not played any well rounded powerful team. the closest thing we saw to that was that indescribably overhyped shit game at ohio state. it turned into a "defensive shootout" they called it, right...

i am a huge USC homer and can admit it. you can trash the pac10 all you want and that's fine with me. but face it, when you put any big10 team on the field against a caliber team like USC, they get sodomized and you know it. i hope no big10 representative makes it into the ncg ruining everybodys hope for a competitive title game

Closest thing we have to PSU v USC is common opponents. Let's see... did they both play the same team this year? Oh that's right, Penn State blew the doors off that sorry ass Oregon State team. And then that sorry ass Oregon State team took a big dump on USC. :missingte

That's not an opinion. That's a fact, JJ.

I agree, Penn St. has to assume that TTech and Alabama could run the table. And knowing this they have to dominate. I think its a strong play especially at 7.

As soon as they start worrying about other teams, they'll fall flat on their face. It's very tough to run the table, especially when your on the road late in the season. Iowa +7.5

i hope penn state makes it to the NCG, so i can load up on whoever they play! Anything less than 10 points against Texas, Texas Tech, Ok State, Florida, or Alabama is a no brainer.

some of you guys are gonna lose a lot of money on the national championship game if psu is in it lol

anyways...

the reason why iowa is getting only 7 points is because #1 they are playing at home where they have won 4 of their 5 games... and #2 that they have lost 4 games by a TOTAL of 12 points.... here are their losses:

(6-2) Pitt by 1
(7-2) Northwestern by 5
at (8-2) Michigan State by 3
at (5-4) Illinois by 3

they place the football game close to the vest, try not to give up any big plays and try to play mistake free and run out the clock...

imo, penn state will go into this game and come out and score early forcing iowa to leave their gameplan and will be forced to try and make plays....thats where psu's defense will get them

psu wins this one by 2+ td's:toast:

YOUR QUOTE:

"the big ten has NOT CONTAINED AN ELITE FOOTBALL TEAM. look at penn st's schedule, are you kidding me????? they have not played any well rounded powerful team."

YOU'RE IGNORANCE IS UNBELIEVABLE...STICK TO SOCCER

WHO HAS USC BEATEN THAT IS ELITE????? WHAT ELITE TEAM DID THEY PLAY...:ohno:

AT LEAST I'M OBJECTIVE. I THINK USC WOULD BE FAVORED OVER PENN ST ON A NEUTRAL FIELD..THAT SAID THE ONLY REAL ELITE CONFERENCES ARE THE SEC (SOMEWHAT) AND BIG 12 (DEFINITELY).I MEAN WHAT ELITE TEAMS HAS BAMA PLAYED????? I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF THEY LOSE THIS WEEK

IN "MY OPINION" AND THAT'S ALL IT IS..THE WINNER OF THE SOUTHERN DIVISION OF THE BIG 12 HAS THE TOUGHEST SCHEDULE, FACES THE MOST "ELITE" TEAMS AND QUITE FRANKLY BASED ON THAT SCHEDULE DESERVES THE NATIONAL TITLE. IF USC PLAYED THE SCHEDULE TEXAS DID, THEY'D ALREADY HAVE 2-3 LOSES:toast:

AND REMEMBER "HOMER" WAS A BLIND GAY DUDE "WHICH AMAZINGLY PROBABLY ALSO DESCRIBES MOST USC HOMERS"

back to the game. the forecast in iowa is calling
for wet conditions thursday, friday & into saturday
with a high around 41 with possible snow showers.
lookin' like they may have a sloppy field to deal with?
if anyone here is familiar with kinnick stadium and
previous games in the rain/snow there, input would
be appreciated. how does their grass hold up?
