Altice - you want a face to face now? LOL. "I know who you are and if they don't take care of it I will deal with it personally".

BTW, here's one of our more prominent posters around here. Often goes 10-0 on plays he forgets to post and has a law degree but makes much more hustling the pick forums at RX.....

I came here to help the posters win for free but after my *50 unit plays started winning they BEGGED me to sell my plays to them..... - Dogball/2002

i agree with other RR guys.

the RR is not what it used to be early on.

this is now the best forum at rx and we dont need the <maroons> from offshore in here.

this is the best forum, and offshore is the worst.

actually, you should move guys like T2W, ID, HH from here, to offshore, where people talk about politics, sitcoms, and movies.

I was joking with UB about another room but now seriously think it would be a good idea. I called it the "outhouse" and UB said, "shit goes here". Unwanted topics should be dumped in the "outhouse" instead of the RR.

Agree the RR is the best.

But I always thought that, even in the RR's rougher days.

I hate moderators....

Peep- Any chance of another room such as the "outhouse" being used as a dumping ground instead of the RR? The RR can still be a room with no rules but has evolved from it's original purpose.

Radiers, not against it.

I would like to see a politics/events of the day forum at some point. Maybe true garbage could be handled there too, I donno.

In fairness to the RR thought, the stuff down here gets cleaned up pretty quickly. The flamers in offshore really aren't up for the level of confrontation that is normal here in the basement.

So the threads sink quickly into the sludge of oblivion...

I think this sounds like a good Idea. However, I kind of have a feeling that just like when the Rubber Room was created, there will be a group of people who hang out in the "outhouse" and "evolve it from its original purposes", then unionize, and so on and so on. Soon you'll have 5 rubber-room-like forums...

My opinion is that we have to take the good with the bad down here. While I love the RR, I am not ready to concede that it should be (or could be) void of BS threads.

Remember that nearly anything goes down here, and that is a big part of what makes it great.

There is a ton of BS up in Offshore that doesn't get thrown down here. Why? Because it is fitting in Offshore. Just think how fuvked up the RR would be if we had the "legit" threads from Offshore thrown down here. LOL

We get a lot of the really senseless (Identity and Oldfriend) threads sent down here, but they sink fast. I like OF.

We are faced with the following reality:

Any Forum, whether it is the "best forum" or the "outhouse," will inevitably get its fair share of BS threads.

IMO, the nature of the RR does not need to be changed, nor is there any need to convince anyone that it is the premier forum on The Rx. Remember that there is a lot of stuff that flies down here that would get someone banned if they posted it in Offshore. We can say what we want down here, and so can Identity..

Good points on the RR guys. You know what I find interesting. You would think that this would be the opposite but if someone new to gambling asks a question in offshore you see 15 smartass replies. If they ask it in the RR in a polite way they get a good answer. If they don't ask it politely then they get flamed out of here in a hurry.

No offense, raiders, but I think you are stroking yourself off on this one. I've seen polite newbie questions answered in both forums, as well as flamed in both forums.

Although I don't post in offshore that much I do go there and read it. I guess I'm just finding myself very bored there lately.
