You don't really need my advice here BUT....

Both of you have said enough here and your positions are clear. Take your negotiations and discussions offline and come back to the threads when a decision is made. Actually, I would suggest that TRK make the post when this situation is finished and in the post he should either state that he will continue the recordkeeping or not and that *should* be the end of the story.

The parties involved seem like bright guys who will come to terms if there is a deal to be had. Good luck.

Paddy, I think you are wrong here... 450 per month

Pay the man a dime a month. TRK2 has done MORE to legitimize the Sports Forums than any mod, yourself or Ken.

I was NOT a TRK fan at 1st, most know this. But NOW (BECAUSE OF TRK2) when I check the sports forums for a 'lead' I know the current records are accurate and not total BullShitt as they used to be or as they will become if he quits. I won't visit the sports forums as much nor will other folks if they become as they were pre-TRK2.

Thank You very much for your thoughts on this matter! I have the utmost respect for you because you speak WHATS ON YOUR MIND whether it be anti or pro the Forum.
Frank even if you did not see things as I do I would still have said the same thing,Your a straight-up guy.
Yes We did have our problems in the begining,but I think we both learned what each other is really about since!

Frank - thanks for your thoughts buddy. I agree with much of what you say, that's why we will continue with the service best we can. Good to see you back in action.

TRK - yes I do not know the sequence of any e-mails. In talking I asked Ken what were we talking about and he just answered the question. I'm not saying it to make anything appear a certain way, just making sure we all agree the fee is $450. He even said if you did not get the money you might keep posting, just that you were done keeping records. Hell no one can blame you for that!! You invest your own time and efforts here. When it gets to be not worth it you should move on, no question about it. I also think you have every right to ask for a job anytime you want, no problem on this end with it. Just hope you can accept the site's decision if we aren't hiring right now. If we ever do you can bet I know who to call.

Swami - good advice as usual. It was brought out here so I wanted to post why I felt the way I did. No reason to hide anything as I don't think either side is out of line. Of course as a site we know we can't win with everyone, some will agree with us and some will not. I do concur with you though that since the position of both parties is known we are beating a dead horse. I will lock it sometime tomorrow if there is nothing else TRK wants to add. Thanks everyone for the input.

I have no hard feelings toward the site ,and no hard feelings toward you.I have stated that I would not be monitoring after the MLB season here ,and also stated I did not know what I was going to do with the rest of the NFL.I did say that if I continue to monitor(I will use the same people plus some add ons)it most likely will not be here,and I said this because I do not want anyone saying that I said "I was not going to monitor any longer" and then all of a sudden you guys see me pop up elsewhere! I am being as straight-foward as possible in this matter. My position is that I do not know if I will continue to monitor or not,its not etched in stone,however if I do choose to continue it is very doubtful that it will be here!
