LeBron is damn good but vastly overrated, he is living in the new peak of the 24/7/365 sports media era.

He is slobbered upon, over f-ing glorified all year. ESPN is heavily committed to The NBA, on line ESPN.com it is almost sickening.

Are you kidding, choice between LeBron and Kareem at their peak, their whole careers? Kareem for sure!

And there are several others but it is true, hard to compare players from different eras.

There are more basketball players, now, so the ones today are the best of the larger pool, best. On the other hand. players from decades ago, with today's nutrition, coaching, and weight training, with kids starting at age 12 or so, who knows how much more they would dominate?

I think you do have to give credit to LeBron for making it to eight finals, but when we're talking about the GOAT, you can't go 3-5 and have some very poor games along the way.

How successful would LBJ have been during the Jordan era?

McHale clotheslines Rambis in the NBA finals, and this wasn't even a flagrant foul. In today's NBA,
it would have been a flagrant 2, possibly a fine, and possibly kicked out of the game.

If Jordan and James were on the same team and both in their prime, Jordan is Batman and James is Robin.
