Easier said than done

But to reiterate, I’m not saying they’ve been exceptional in their decision making. I just don’t think post Brady has been some colossal failure or that the team is a bottom feeder

It’s been very fine/OK

Me either really, was well within range of outcomes which I said at the time but you heard for 20 years how the org was 75 steps ahead of every other. So of course when team comes back to the pack, people are gonna crow/critique etc

although I wouldn’t have guessed their best WR over the course of that 4 years was Jacob Meyers.

Finding offensive talent in the draft that can come in and contribute right away is easier than ever

I guess part of my point is even during the dynasty the offensive skill position drafting left a lot to be desired . So everything since hasn’t seemed uncharacteristic

I guess, it’s still been garbage offense and sub .500 cumulative record. I don’t care about laundry much, but in what world is that “very fine”?

Average in the nfl isn’t where you wanna be at all

Sure. I see your points. Probably a few mistakes on my end

I guess the gambling part you pointed out was definitely part of my point -- they do seem a little bit undervalued. 6.5 seems low

I'm just saying a few years of being a medicore team that is competitive enough to not completely suck shouldn't be some shock to a team that just lost the greatest QB in NFL history. The expectations being high was the issue from the start

I'm happy with the Patriots play on both sides of the ball. The defense played an amazing game against a strong offense, held the Eagles to 250 yards. Their offense moved the ball, big difference schematically with O'Brian >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Patricia (last year was so fucking ugly)

A couple of bad turnovers, very easy to fix, a couple of receptions out of bounds by a rookie who I doubt will make that mistake again. Two point conversion taken away, Eagles FG clanks the upright but bounces through, and the Eagles needed all those breaks to win this game.

I hate losing, but they played good, I think my optimism is justified

Nothing passed the GOAT by, he just owned Jalen Hurts. He'll fix the few problems they had

It was a solid game for them. Really should've won outright, let alone covered.

I have the Dolphins winning the division, but I like the Patriots Sunday night in their red unis

NE will be a nice test for Miami. You made a real nice play with Miami winning the division. If not for the Ramsey injury they would be the most talented team in the NFL, maybe still that way. All said, I may still be on NE Sunday,

Hill, Waddle and Mostert are the three fastest weapons that any team has ever had in the NFL. Hill is the most dangerous player in football other than QBs. Bosa and Mack couldn't get close to Tua. There were only 2 hits on Tua all game, no sacks. He didn't have to wash his uniform.

The Fish can be scary, very good when they're good. I'm not 100% sold on Tua yet, and I like the guy. He has good games, hasn't done enough yet to put him in top tier status.

Sunday is big, I'm staying away action wise

Patriots offense looks like it might have a pulse under O'Brien.

I'm holding off judgement until i see a little more but reason for optimism from the NE faithful.

Yeah the Patricia thing was dumb, probably the most critique worthy move

In Belichick I trust, but hindsight is 20/20 and that has to be the worst decision of his life. I think he announced within like two days of the season ending that there would be a new OC this year.

They should’ve let Patricia use “The System”

remember that thing? It’s like russiagate half the people believed in it at the time but as time went on you can’t find anyone that said they did
