Since the Patriots are playing in the AFC Championship for the 8th consecutive year, "their unbelievable run of greatness is not over", it continues. Today they absolutely destroyed the Chargers in every phase of the game, they beat them only playing two quarters, they looked nothing like a team "playing poorly"
You've been dying for attention all day in here so I guess I will give you a little. One time.
It's obvious you haven't read the thread. If you did, you would know my stance and prediction. It was clarified that I do not believe that Tom and Bill will go to another Super Bowl together. If the Chiefs win next weekend, then my prediction stands up. For at least this season.
I'm not sure why you feel the need to come in here and puff your chest when I simply lost a bet on an NFL football game today. You are 0-3 in your last three NFL lock of the year threads recently. Someone might want to worry about their own wagers. If you even bet.
I don't doubt that you're a good bettor/know a lot the industry. But this was blind anti-Patriots bias. To paint the narrative that everyone had a chance except the Patriots was just laughable.
Depends on what your definition of "run of greatness" is. I defined my position very clearly on multiple occasions in this thread. I don't think they return to a Super Bowl.
Great teams go to Super Bowls and win them. Great teams don't lose in the AFC championship game.
They played great today. That team today was night and day better than how they played down the stretch in the regular season. Will be interested to see if they can keep the momentum going into Arrowhead next weekend. Should be another fun KC/NE game. I see highs in the teens for Sunday in KC. Another cold one..
It really wasn't anti-Patriots bias. Ive given New England plenty of praise in this thread. Their dynasty is one of the greatest in the history of sports.
A little bit of fun with some trolling of the resident Pats fans? Of course. That would be much more accurate.
But despite the troll in good fun, my prediction of their run of greatness being over was sincere. And I'm stickin' to it.
Your prediction was already proven wrong. Even if they lose to the Chiefs, they made you look like a fool. They proved that their run isn't over. They don't have to make the Super Bowl every single season.
With that said, they probably are going to...again
You aren't worried Michel is just gonna run over that Chiefs run D and thus your dreams of a NE-free SB go up in flames?
NE has transformed into a ball control/power running game offense the last 2 months when it was apparent they didn't have the offensive weapons in the passing game they've had in past years (mainly Gronk's demise) and that is the Chiefs weakness on D.
Ya, I think you realize you underestimated the heart of a champion (something Rudy Tomjonovich said not to do) but at this point you're all in, can't just capitulate and say holy shit, NE is the team.
They are playing a great half of football at home right now.
Yes. New England is playing great
I'll take my lumps right now. Patriots looked amazing in the first half. There is really nothing more to say other than it appears I was completely wrong on my Chargers +4.5 bet.
They played great today. That team today was night and day better than how they played down the stretch in the regular season.
Hey Devil....I will be in town too....Tuesday to Tuesday....Tuesday to Friday at Golden Nugget......Friday to Tuesday at Fremont...….Where are you staying?
