I agree-- take one and you make Rutgers potentially go for two to make it a 3pt lead, now they get a 3pt lead if they go for 1 or a 4pt lead if they go for 2.

Why deflate the offense (if even slightly) and screw the momentum?

The only reason to go for 2 is you make Rutgers score the TD and make the extra point to get the lead. But do you really think they will miss another one.

Now if they score a TD, a FG only ties not give you the lead.
