I didn't think the Panthers were gonna keep him long-term either. They gotta pay Starlow and Short and those guys are the core of that D. Norman had a great year but he is 28 and elite CBs tend to begin to fade just a few years later. Committing to him long-term over their interior line guys would've been a mistake and usually it is tough to pay everyone the big $. Pats made the same decision with Chandler Jones, but atleast they did get a draft pick for him.
