Great post. Why is everybody hung up on this "Why Can't We All Just Get Along" crap? If you generally dislike someone there is nothing wrong with expressing it in my opinion. Once the season starts it will be business as usual. See ya in September Don.

Don Marco, for entertainment value I gotta agree - only FatBob and BernieVegas are a better act - but for 'capping value, it stinks.
BigLou ain't no angel - He has this set of arbitrary rules that he thinks everyone should adhere to; it seems to me that he neglects to mention his own "mistakes" as he points to the errors that others make (Hey, BigLou, remember that Dallas wager?). For me it's a case of "He who lives in a glass house shouldn't throw stones".
Panther tends to react very negatively to any kind of criticism - especially when he's had a bad day - he should ignore the jerks and recognize that he has a large following who believe in him - and a negative, childish sounding diatribe detracts from his image. He should let his overall record, and his supporting audience do his talking for him.
I think both are good 'cappers in their own way, but BigLou should just take care of his own business and stop being the forum cop, and Panther should learn how to control his considerable temper.

That's my take on this foolishness.

it's far more interesting this way. yes this is a gambling forum but sometimes we can have fun. in 3.5 years that i spent here i sometimes feel that i know many of the guys personnally, which is not the case.

i just love lou, panther, rod, as well as BV and FB going against each other. It probably brings the best out of them.

I am what I am. And seeing people post incorrect NFL information bothers me. If were here to help each other then let's have as less misinformation as possible. I'm not trying to show anybody up, just trying to get it right.

As far as that Dallas game you mentioned, I always try to take a negative and turn it into a positive. That game of the year losing as bad as it did was the best thing that could have happened because I put too much importance on one game. And that is a no-no. You will not see me posting anything like that ever again. If I really like a game I will put an extra unit or two on it but consistency is the name of the game.

I just finished up a very long research project on the quarterback position and part of the reason was due to that very game. I had a lot of reasons to be on that game but did overlook the quarterback that day (Ryan Leaf) thinking it wouldn't matter because of the multiple systems and statistical angles supporting the Cowboys as big home dogs. Obviously I was wrong.

There is nothing wrong with making mistakes as long as you learn from them. You have to allow yourself the room to make mistakes if you want to be successful.

38-36 can add up to a tidy sum at the end of the year with the right money management! Way to many cappers here are hung up about the record when its the $$$$, the +units that really matters most. At least to me it does.
