General, that advice, while strong is not enough for some of us. (Unlike Ivan) I don't need the money at PanAm to go about my life. But the fact that somebody has brazenly stolen from me is what causes me to lose sleep - the amount is irrelevant.

SunDevil,

I cannot give any better advice. I cannot make anyone feel any better right now. I can only answer questions the best I can & hope for the best. At some point, we have to declare Panam Dead and I am afraid they will use that as a way out if we do. Their not coming in here and posting updates is very irresponsible and characteristic of a stiff.

Strike one: Telling everyone they have deep pockets when they opened

Strike two: telling everyone the management knew how to run a book

Strike three: slow pay

yeah let me know when they get everyone paid off I'll send them some money...

If scotty actually gets everyone paid, I don't know if I'd play with panam agian, but if scotty ever opened up a new book with new owners, I'd consider signing up with him.Bottom line is that it would be a lot easier for a lot of people at panam to simply walk away. SO if somehow they manage to find away to pay everyone, it would prove to me that they have some integrity.

Why would anyone play there?
Money bet is play money to some while it is profit loss to others.

This place was taking deposits before they even knew the results from the meeting.

They have multi investors that put themselves before the company.

They have a CEO who admittingly thinks it is ok to keep less than 100% of the post up on hand.

This is an example of one of the last books I would tell someone to try. (before complete intentional deposit only scams) ...I'm speaking as if they are going to pay.

Who will use them?
Search engine surfers and the like. They could possibly try to get into Bodog's market with the Flexcard. If their marketing department doesn't quit they might be able to work a new angle.

yes, I would play there again.

I made money there.

I middled my funds out of there, but the amount I had remaining was much less than what I had already beaten them to.

these places are not safety deposit boxes

and there is no need to keep excess funds anywhere that does not draw interest

I hope everyone gets paid, and I think they will.

they were very beatable, and I would look forward to the same oppurtunity, that is just the way I see it. Would I leave 10 bets there? no

ATX, what are the odds of UT canning MB if he loses two or more games again next fall?

Is there really a sentiment to get SOS to bring his golf clubs to Georgetown or Horseshoe Bay?

I personally would rather have him in the SEC, back at UF, but an SOS vs. Stoops battle would be fun.

odds of Mr Brown getting canned this year:

no: -550

yes: +635

I see tremendous value in the 'no', might close nearer -2000.

the defensive coordinator was the scape goat for the time being

interesting that you brought up spur, I was just exchanging IM's about the same subject recently

my thoughts were that he would be a great fit here. everyone seems to hate us, and everyone seems to hate him, perfect. great golf, and laid back work ethic here. we need a better offense, the o-coord is a complete slob from what I've heard, not just in his play calling. I think it's more about the AD not wanting to admit he makes mistakes, or that things arent working out more than anything else. I'm thinking Barnes becomes coach after basketball ends, Spur gets the o-coord job, Garrido gets the defense, and Mack retains recruiting priveleges for '05.

by Bevo, I hope not!!

I see Jody at the convenience store about once a week on the beer pilgramage. She sometimes gives me that lesbo wink, depending upon how bloodshot my eyes are.

now the next time I see her, I wont be able to avoid visualizing her in those leather chaps and panties outfits the gals sport now. ugghhh!! you bastard!!
