The campaign is over, the Letterman thing has played out so she's quitting while the iron is hot so she can hit the "motivational speaking" circuit, something she couldn't do while in office. This dumb redneck is somehow smart enough to realize that the 15 minutes are close to expiring and she's going to take advantage.

Palin came from nowhere like a lightning bolt from the sky to ignite a listless McCain campaign. Without Palin, McCain was drawing 1,000 or less at campaign stops, with Palin at his side huge & enthusiatic crowds swarmed to the rallies. Republicans briefly surged ahead in the polls.

Then came the McCain folly, admitting that the economy was not his strongpoint & Palins disastrous moments with Couric & Gibson & it was over.

The Palinhaters offer up Palins, Kouric & Gibson interviews to paint her as a lightweight. On that point lets remember Palin was a vitual rookie at the time. Using sports analogy Willie Mays was 0-24 before he got his first hit as a rookie, Mike Schmidt batted .195 his rookie year. They did OK, don't count Palin out!

Too funny...lefties are scared to death of this gal.

If you weren't...you wouldn't be making such a deal of her.

Truth, and you know it, but you just can't admit it...hilarious. :103631605

In your wettest of dreams MJ.

She's been and always will be the butt of jokes, a sideshow, and a calamity. As a dem, I'm as threated from her as watching paint dry. In the most sincerest of honesty, I hope, pray, and dream you tards push her to the top of the ticket in 2012. Obama would make McCain's asswhooping look as if he were flipping burgers.

You know I'm right and it pisses you off...if you weren't scared of her...you wouldn't be wasting all this energy on her.

C'mon...it's just common sense dude.

It's obvious as hell where your fears are...you can't see it...but we can see it in your posts.

You just parrot what you read at KOS or Huffpo.@)

They did the same thing to Reagan.Reagan turned out to be the best pres ever in our liftime.

McCain actually took the lead over Obama a week after Sarah joined the ticket. It was McCain who blew his own lead by suspending his campaign to go to DC during the bailout vote.Only to go along with the hacks, and lose the lead for good.
Some of you jokers better get a clue. For all the free positive press and hoopla for Obama he didn't win by all that much.
If the Dems AND Repubs were not afraid of her then they wouldn't send operatives up to AK to file 18 phoney suits against her in 6 mos. to try to hamstring her.She is the antithesis of the anti American Marxist who darkens the WH doors today.

Likely the most golden of comedy in this topic is the analogies posed between Sarah Palin and Ronald Reagan.

Keep 'em comin', Pubs. It helps fill in the gaps over the next seven and a half years for those moments when you're not declaring the End of the World courtesy of Barack Obama.

She is more of a Libertarian than a Pub.Theres a segment of Pubs that don't like her.She is not a Chicago Daley hack or a Bush oil hack.
She was pigeon holed and hamstrung in AK and is very popular much to Keith Olberman dismay.
....Its kind of like the morons up my way who ask "Who likes NASCAR?"
I hope the fuck she comes down in the 48 and raises hell.

Palin was picked for one reason: she's a chick. The novelty factor gave the ticket a boost but once that faded it was over. Sports and politics are a poor comparision; a better one would be between her and Geraldine Ferraro. After Ferraro was swamped (I voted for Reagan) she ended up nowhere, as will Palin.

Yo, Bartool, I don’t know what your motivation is to repeatedly bring up Palins retarded child but all I can say is don’t let the toilet seat hit you in the back of your head next time you go to get a drink.

Palin's very handicapped child is pertinent because unlike other people proposing to serve in high elected office, she would thus herself be unduly handicapped in being able to carry out the duties of that level of job.

However, by the year 2020, the kid is in early teens and an established support system will have been put into place and at that time if Palin was seeking high elected office she would be far less inhibited from doing the job well.

All of the above has its foundation in Palin herself actively and aggressively using that kid as a visual prop during her couple months of VP campaign.

No other candidate - Dem, Repub or Indy - gave over 3/4 of their public presentations with one of their children draped over their shoulder in hopes of inspiring they sympathy vote. Her choosing to do so makes that child's role in her day to day life fair game for criticism.

Or, if you personally prefer, one can totally ignore the child's ominpresent role in her public campaigning this past fall and in future campaigns wherever she may go.

I see, so now he's a very handicapped child. You sound like Letterman. No matter how you wish to justify referring to her kid as a tard my advise for the toilet seat still stands.

why would anyone be scared of palin..

she cost mccain the presidency once she opened her mouth.

she knows she never has a chance at president because nobody takes her seriously. she has been reducted to a caricature, a cartoon figure.

she is an asset more then anything. when people inyour own party want you to shut up it tells you everything you need to know.

the democratic party thrusted obama into the spotlight and he became president.

mccain thrusted palin into the spotlight and she ruined his campaign and her credibility for years.

yea, people are afraid of her.

rolls eyes
