I liked Stanford before the season started and like them now.
Never seen so many 'white' boys on a top division I team.

He won't win the Heisman, but that little RB for Stanford should be in the top 3.

Hi CL.

Watching Henry play today and now watching the kind of game McCaffrey is having, I think there could be some injustice in that. He's the first man to pass Barry Sanders single season record for all-purpose yards as he runs his all-purpose total yards over 300 for this game in just the first half. How long did that record last? Must have been decades.

And as far as the trees are concerned, more white folk on that team than have played for Saban all told. I believe more than just a couple of them are originally from the Stockton area not too far from the SF Bay area. I don't know if you remember the University of the Pacific (Stockton) where the huge farm boy white folk used to go play football en masse. I don't think Pacific is still around in the CFB sense. Too bad. They grow a lot of cattle over there. I think those 325 lb. linemen wrestled them steers before breakfast in the summer.

That little white boy McCaffrey runs away from your typical black boy DB's. Something I like about him is how he defies racial stereotyping and logic. He's still just a sophomore too. I think next season is his year to win the Heisman.

I love the kid Mr. C.

He slices through a hole as well as any back I have seen this season.

He reminds me of a back many years ago and for the life of me I can't remember who.

Ok, just hit me who McCaffrey reminds me of....

Johnny Musso, Alabama RB back in the early 70's. White boy about the same size. Musso was
a two time All-American at Bama. He also was an academic All-American who could get through
a hole like Mac does.

Musso played for the Chicago Bears and has been very successful in business ventures.

McCaffrey ran up 461 all-purpose yards today.

I know Henry is a great running back, unquestionably as good as you will ever see. 158 yards today?
McCaffrey just racked up about 3X as much as what Henry just did in the SECCG running the football.
Henry is the leading rusher in the country with about 4 or 5 guys on his tail. McCaffrey leads the all-
purpose yards category by over 1000 yards. And he's a likable dude.

easy money. congrats conan
Thanks dawg.
I think some people forget just how good Stanford is.

Barry Sanders is no longer a record holder in the annals of the CFB sport.
His name is in the process of being erased because of Christian McCaffrey.

To me that's just insane!!

As I stated earlier...the kid is one hell of a football player. I love to watch him play!

Saying that, as a sophomore this season, he ain't going to win the Heisman Trophy.

If I'm wrong...will not hurt my feelings at all.

Stanford is a very good football team...An (8) team play-off would allow them to prove-it in the play-offs......"January Madness".

While not the best RB in CFB, McCaffery might be the most dynamic and dangerous player when he gets the ball in his hands whether than be from a handoff, return, reception, etc. I believe he's only a sophomore as well, so should have at least one if not two more seasons down on that Farm.

Stanford players the likes of Toby Gerhart (second to Mark Ingram) John Elway (second to Herschel Walker) and Andrew Luck (second to Cam Newton and again to Robert Griffin III the following year) all of them Heisman candidates from Stanford that were snubbed by the Heisman sportswriters (all living E of Texas) Only Jim Plunkett, Stanford's famed QB way back in 1970 won the award playing for the (politically incorrect) "Stanford Indians"

All of the above is reason enough to think McCaffrey doesn't have a chance this time around in spite of turning in the 5th highest single-game output by one player ever since records have been kept. That's over 60,000 D1-A games played in over 75 years. Everyone that watched the Stanford game witnessed a single-game performance by one player that has been surpassed only 4 times in the history of the sport.

Chances are the Cardinal will be matched with Ohio St. in the Rose Bowl. That's not too bad of a consolation prize. That game should be just as good as either of the CFP semis.

McCaffrey is THE BEST PLAYER in CFB. Not just RB. He's 2015 version of Reggie Bush.

Kind of reminds me of a Darren Sproles type of player, could have a role like that in the NFL. We'll see though, the NFL is a whole lot faster of a ball game.
